Yeager & Company IncI seldom write reviews; I’ve written maybe a handful in the past decade. Not opposed to writing them – the reality is, since moving to Florida (part-time), I haven’t received that combination of superb results and first-rate customer service from any company that made writing anything worthwhile. I’m writing one for Yeager because their work was impeccable, customer service superb, and they carried out their work – from start to finish – with absolute honesty and integrity. We hired Yeager to paint the entire interior of our home (approximately 3500 sf) – top to bottom, floor to ceiling, and to install hardwood flooring throughout the entire first floor, and carpet in the bonus room on the second floor. When my wife walked in the door (we were away when Yeager completed the job), her jaw dropped to the floor. It soon became obvious that the home we had earlier this year put on the market to sell with plans to build a new home was going to be our forever home. With just paint and floors, our home had been transformed into something out of one of those Home and Garden magazines, or off of HGTV. Take my word for it: the paint lines are crisp and the flooring guys were meticulous and precise with their work, as if they were outfitting their own homes. Nobody walking in the front door would be able to tell the difference between Yeager’s work on my 15-year old property and a new build. Yes, it was that good. Even more important than the work, in many regards, was Jim Yeager’s and Mike Shorba’s involvement at every stage. They were honest, responsive, and operated with a sense of integrity that I’ve found to be rare in my nearly decade living in Florida – having experienced contractors who don’t show up, half-do the work, walk out on the job, and/or are unresponsive. Though I shopped around for nearly two years (including three bids from Yeager), we’re delighted to have found a company that operates the old-fashioned way, like the way we did things where I grew up in the Midwest. If you are contemplating Yeager, just pull the trigger. You will be glad you did. They will certainly be my go-to for future housing projects.- Marc S.

Roundhouse painting LlcFrom the beginning, Hector was very responsive, respectful and honest with our needed project and vision. We had interviewed multiple businesses. Choosing Roundhouse was made without hesitation. Hector and his team were very professional, punctual and clean in every detail. They began with the exterior paint and shortly after, we had them return to paint the interior of our home. A Supervisor was on site daily and Hector would stop to check in with us and look over the work at day's end. Their timeline and expectations were concise and upfront throughout the entire project and made our experience much less stressful. Finding a legitimate, honest and customer service driven businessman is always difficult. Hampton Painting IncHampton Painting painted the exterior of my house several months ago. I was very impressed with the result so decided to have them paint the interior of the house when the renters moved out. Their team patched/textured quite a bit holes and surface irregularities on the walls. I was impressed on how much pre-painting prep work they did before painting. They were very careful on covering everything before painting. They also painted the inside of my garage and epoxied the floor. Turned out amazing. Their fee was very reason compared to other companies. Daniel Hampton worked with me through the whole project. He was prompt in returning my emails and texts. The whole project was seamless. JDS Remodeling and Handyman Service IncOverall, very well. Jovan is very professional, honest, and a super-hard worker. He was on-site himself almost every day. We started with a few items, but soon those few grew into a laundry list of jobs. Jovan responded quickly and efficiently, finishing only about a week behind the first deadline -- but remember we kept on adding on jobs. If you go with JDS, you will find him fair and a man of his word. Just be sure that everything you want to see happen goes into the contract--including draw schedules, deadlines, and the nitty-gritty of the job descriptions. JDS Remodeling and Handyman Service IncJovan Steed is the owner of the business and he did a great job with the work. The new textured ceilings look great and he did a great job with the modifications to the storage closet by turning it into a small work office. Additionally the removal of the old tub in the guest bathroom that was changed into a shower came out great. Jovan has a wonderful work ethic and was very picky about the small details. Roundhouse painting LlcEverything went super smoothly. Hector was my contact for everything and he was always in touch, answers questions and concerns up front and there were no hidden surprises. He made sure to check in on a couple occasions to ensure the job was going well and met my needs and standards. The crew was friendly and efficient. From start to finish I was impressed with American Painters. I initially reached out to them on a Sunday not expecting a reply until Monday however, I was pleasantly surprised when Becky not only responded but got a quote to me that same Sunday. I scheduled them to: remove popcorn ceiling, re-texture, drywall repair, paint walls, doors, ceilings. Bob was the foreman who arrived the day work began. We did a walk through and I pointed out huge holes in the bathroom ceilings where fluorescent bulbs once resided. He patched over those and made it look as if they were never there! I also had some weird big columns in the kitchen from the previous owner making the place Greco-Roman. We had no clue what they were made of or what was underneath. I was afraid this was going to be an issue but when I discussed it with Bob, he jubilantly said it would not be a problem! Sure enough, he made it look as if they were never there. Nothing was an obstacle for this crew. They were so friendly, did everything I asked with the best attitudes. The work was done timely; I was given a time frame of one week but that was before I added all the extra work. It ended up taking 8 days total and the final cost was not far from the quote especially considering all the extra work I added on after the quote was produced. My home looks amazing! The crew did a fantastic job! They were able to beautifully preserve the crown molding which I was told by another company couldn't be done when removing popcorn ceiling. Finally I was given a follow up call to ensure I was 100% satisfied. When I mentioned there was a tiny bit of paint on the floor and was simply asking how best to remove the spot, he offered to send someone over immediately to resolve the issue. However, it was truly so tiny that was not necessary but I felt very pleased he offered. I can't imagine having a better experience. Even my neighbor saw their work and got a quote for them to do work in his home! Further testament these guys are good!
