Lifestyle Group Residential RemodelingA great experience! We have used this group on 4 different projects to remodel two bathrooms and to build a year-round mostly window sunroom and a side porch. In addition- this team was able to do a repair on a dormer of our home that 4 other companies were unable to fix- preventing additional water damage (even though repairs are not normally in their scope of work). The crew was amazing and the communication of how the work was progressing was excellent. We would HIGHLY recommend using this company to design, execute and polish any home remodeling or building project. They were flexible in the work plan- allowing us to save some money by us pre-staining the wood for our cathedral ceiling. They were creative in helping us to find solutions so that we had the exact outcome we pictured and desired. Very hard working crew, friendly and polite. Cleaned up the work area as well. Home improvement work is scary and often unpredictable and Miguel handled every last detail with honesty, professionalism and has become like a brother to me. I went from wanting a garage to a garage with a carriage house, and a patio, and oh yeah, I guess I need a fence too...He called me and let me know the play-by-plays of what was happening and all of his team were so kind and did such beautiful work. Recommended demo crew, who were professional, affordable, and capable of doing all aspects of demo and prep work. Pioneers Crew of Jeff, Brian, and Dave . Installed cabinets, trim, and custom items. Pioneer KitchensOnce the preliminary decision was made to go with Pioneer, we set up a meeting with Jared Smith with Archibuilt (reviewed separately), who is Tom's recommended contractor for the construction parts of the renovation. I was very impressed with Jared as well, and so that sealed the deal for me. After our initial meeting, Tom provided a detailed design with a cabinet and appliance configuration that would maximize the limited space. Pioneer makes things very simple for the client by quoting the work as kind of a "package deal." As a person who has great difficulty making a lot of decisions like me, this is exactly what I needed. You are quoted a price for the cabinets, all hardware, the countertops, and a stainless steel, undermounted double sink, and you choose from the selection they carry. They offer a few different brands of semi-custom cabinetry, as well as cabinet refacing. In his design, he included lots of nice features inside the cabinets like pull-out shelves, a "Super Susan", a pull-out double wastebasket cabinet, a double silverware drawer, and a built-in knife block. I didn't have to opt for all those bells and whistles, but it was helpful that they were included in his design so that I could see what was possible. I also visited his showroom a few times while trying to decide on the details and that was a huge help to be able to see and try out the features. Based on our agreed-upon budget, we were allowed a certain "grade" of granite for the countertops, and were provided with two granite providers. You simply go to the warehouse and choose your slabs. I opted to upgrade our granite because I found one that I loved, so that did add to the final cost. We contracted Archibuilt to handle all of the construction aspects of the job, and Pioneer would handle the installation of the cabinets, countertops, sink, faucet and appliances. Tom worked with Jared on a schedule for the job, and we were told that the job would be finished in two weeks. Everyone I knew, including my husband and I, scoffed at the two week timeframe for all this work. No one thought it was possible to complete the extensive project within just two weeks. Once work began though it was very clear that these guys meant business, and they had every intention of finishing up all the work, despite any unexpected setbacks, within that quoted timeframe. Pioneer and Archibuilt worked together seamlessly from demolition to the final product. I would highly recommend Tom and Pioneer Kitchens to anyone looking for a tenured expert in all things kitchen. I'm very happy with the price and result. Nick offered two solutions: repair the broken brick base or replace the entire enclosure. He was able to find some matching bricks to do the repair option. He did not charge extra to hunt down the brick or to reclaim some of the old brick to intermix it with the new--which helped blend the repair. Nick was a pleasure to work with. I hired Mint Properties to install a exterior door in my home. I spoke with Miguel, got a quote and hired on the spot. Miguel was great at getting me scheduled and was very fair on cost of the install. Bill came on time and did the install. I could have asked for a better carpenter. Bill was friendly, quick and to the point. He got the job done and even gave me some tips on completing other tasks around my home. He directed me to contact Miguel anytime we need a top quality licensed contractor. We will be contacting Miguel at Mint Properties again and again in the future. Now stop reading and call them already, they won't disappoint.
