"Let me start off by saying the work that was done by Flores Artscape is fantastic, so if I was judging them just based off of the finished product, I'd give them 5 stars. It was a relatively big project - we wanted to greatly expand and remodel our backyard deck - and with that came a good amount of demo, drainage digging and a lot of precise woodworking/install. So the fact that the deck turned out as advertised and then some is a sign that they can get the job done, no matter what. That being said I do think they could work on their communication. It was a tricky time, in the midst of a Covid surge, so there's a good chance they were understaffed. They had two guys working the project when I believe three would've moved it along faster. The biggest issue was that the guys who were working back there would regularly ask me about the project specs. I found it odd that they didn't already know what I wanted as we had pre-planned everything with their designer. Were they not filled in? I assume the job of keeping the workers up to speed is the responsibility of their project leader, not the homeowner, right? But like I said, the work turned out great so despite the back and forth that had to happen during the project, we got what we wanted! Thanks Flores!show more

"Our backyard was in need of a redo: We struggled to grow grass, and we wanted a space that would accommodate a trampoline and a small garden, as well as a dining table and sitting area, but still feel green and lush. After meeting with a few landscapers who suggested we get rid of the trampoline, rip up our existing brick patio and put pavers everywhere, we met Alisa from Motti's team. As a landscape designer, she really listened to what we wanted, and had great ideas for how to incorporate it all, as well as suggestions for garden planters and furniture. A week after our meeting, we got detailed plans that showed us just what the yard would look like, as well as what plants would look and work best. We then worked with Motti to tweak the plans, finalize the budget, and pick out materials, etc., and we were able to schedule the project within a few weeks time. Once the job started, Motti's team of workers were professional and efficient, and Motti stopped by daily to check the progress. "We hired Hye Turf Designs to xeriscape our front and back yards. I’ll be honest with you. Prior to this, we didn’t even have so much as an irrigation system and our yard was a mess. Other than wanting something low maintenance and drought resistant, we had no idea what we were looking for. Hutch Khandjian, Designer and Project Manager, took us under his wing and designed an eye catching landscape using a combination of DG, rock, astroturf and plants.
