    This my experience with Horizon Construction and Remodeling, and why I recommend them. This is the second time that I have hired a contractor. The first time was a bathroom remodel, and it was a disaster, so I was very apprehensive about hiring another contractor. We needed to remodel our kitchen, so I had no choice. I did my due diligence and research and called three companies to interview. All three I had no prior knowledge of or experience with. Out of the three bids, there was a high, a medium, and a low. After talking to them one more time I went with the medium bid company. That company is called Horizon Construction and Remodeling. It turns out I made the right choice. My experience with this company is the complete opposite from my first experience with a contractor. My Project Manager was Mark, who did an outstanding job of keeping the project moving quickly efficiently. His crews showed up on time, were professional and did quality work, from plumbing to electrical to framing to painting to cabinets all were done to my satisfaction. If something was not done to my satisfaction (which was rare), I just let Mark know about it and he would send someone to either redo or touch-up the work. Mark would visit the job site frequently. I feel Mark is honest and has his customer’s best interest at heart. There were a couple of times when he could have charged me extra money for items that came up during the project, but he did not. Like any project we had to make some changes along the way, and Mark is very willing to work with you to make sure that you get what you want. Mark will listen to your ideas plus he has many ideas himself. He helped us a lot with our kitchen design. They started my project Oct. 11, 2001. My wife and I were hoping to have the project done by Christmas. They had it done in 7 weeks in time for Thanksgiving! The inside staff is led be Enna. They make sure everything is ordered on time. They even arrange for inspections. They are very polite and efficient and responsive. We are doing our doors and windows next and we going to have Horizon Construction and Design do the work.     Horizon construction & Remodeling remodeled/updated both my master and the main bathrooms, which were in their original mid-60s construction state. David Eskin and his team of tradesmen helped bring my vision to fruition. As with any project, once the walls were opened up, some revisions were required; based upon their expertise and experience, Horizon was able to provide a few suggestions and a few “tweaks” to address these revisions. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Both bathrooms are much more functional and beautiful! Horizon also did some minor improvements in my laundry area – again improving the functionality and looks! Note: Remodeling costs did not cover much of the material costs. I had already selected and/or purchased some of the building materials; I did research and purchase much of the remaining materials (tub, vanities, tiles). Horizon does have its own showroom, and could have provided these at an additional cost. However, because I already had a firm idea as to what I wanted, I handled the ordering of these myself

    Butel is an excellent general contractor and I would recommend them for any renovation or home construction project. We have used them several times, from relatively small projects like enclosing a porch or refinishing floors, to major renovations like a new master suite and a basement conversion that required major structural remediation. Miguel (field super) is friendly and quick to respond to questions by text. Prices are fair, and they do not nickle-and-dime you with change orders. Workmanship was excellent. We are very happy with the work and will use them again when it's time for the next project

    The engineer, Mark, called us before arriving to say he would be a bit late, and then showed up exactly at the new time. He took his time and crawled with me under the house and examined the outside, and then provided his opinion of our situation. It turned out that the seepage would not develop into an issue, and he provided useful information on how to properly excavate around the foundation for a basement. He indicated that while they could do the work, his firm would be more expensive for a small job like this than just hiring a regular contractor. I appreciated his honesty across the board. In the end, he made a referral suggestion and left without obtaining any work. He was very nice and knowledgeable, and I would definitely use the firm if the need arose. It was wonderful to find someone who was honest and didn't pressure us for the job

    The basement in our home was finished years ago, but we never got around to adding a bathroom we wanted due to running out of funds. Now it it time to finish the job, and I wanted everything to be perfect. I saw a few of Supreme Remodeling’s work on their website, I was very impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of their work. We ended up adding a very large and luxurious bathroom to our basement space. We added a large tub, separate shower structure, new counters with cabinets underneath, two sinks, and several lighting fixtures. As this remodel was part of our basement, nothing was prepared—Supreme Remodeling had to build everything from the ground up and they did a fantastic job. We turned the basement to a nice private suite with a new luxury bath, and I'm very happy with how Supreme Remodeling made sure we are happy with the end result. The remodelers were nothing but professional and always had time to talk with me and address concerns. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a remodel done right

    We recived nearly 9 estimates over the phone and at least 5 in person before we landed on Jacob with All star home remodeling, for converting our unused garage to A.D.U . Though the estimate was on the higher end of our quotes, we decided that we may get what we pay for, and we were right. We went with Jacob because of his honesty and the detail he went through in the all areas of possible "Red Flags"/ "Grey Areas" and considerations for our specific property that other contractors missed. It proved to us that he was knowledgeable and wasn't going to cut corners. Even from the start, he was punctual and professional, and not salesy or pushy or overly casual like the other contractors. Right in the beginning I knew how grateful we would be to have chosen Jacob with All star home remodeling. It's not that easy to describe almost 4 months of relationship in one short review but, honestly all of them (the desiner, architact and construction crews) were so nice and professionals which from the beginning to the end were giving us such a nice feeling to work together. We could definitely feel that all of them have been doing their job for many years. Jacob was there every step to make sure we aware to any piece of detail of our project, which for us it was the most important thing in this project. Finally we ended up with an amazing second unit.     Ori at Eco Design Pro delivered far more than an excellent remodel, he and his team helped us to recover from what every homeowner fears - the incompetent work of a terrible former contractor. You’ve all heard the horror stories, but we lived through one - after 5 months with our previous contractor, we were left with room after room of half-finished disasters and poor workmanship, giving us no choice but to terminate him. Enter our hero, Eco Design Pro - from the initial contact to our first walkthrough of our home, Ori was present, professional, and mindful of details. He was looking at the type of job that few contractors want to handle - fixing someone else’s poor workmanship. While others had backed away from the job, or scared us with their over-estimations of work needed, Ori came to the table with solutions in mind and a calmness. After discussing details, and doing another walkthrough with his foreman, he presented a great bid that was in-line with others we had received. We chose him because of great communication (always quick responses to emails or phone calls) and knowing that he was the owner of the company and seemed to make personal commitments to his jobs. We soon learned that he would be absolutely dedicated to our project throughout. As we learned (in a bad way) before, contractors are only as good as their foremen - and Ori’s foreman was great - respectful, skilled & competent, and on-time every single day. Although Ori is not on-site every day, he would visit at least twice a week to check-in, was always talking to his men at the job site, and was always available - just a text away with any questions. To give you an example of the issues our previous, inept contractor left - he had installed our brand new (not cheap) mosaic floor tile in our bathroom and had put down thin plywood as a sub floor. A month later, all the grout began cracking and the tiles were loose! This was one of about 50 things he botched. Ori and Eco Design Pro held our hands as we faced and uncovered these discoveries/horrors - like having to re-buy all new tile to re-install in two bathrooms. The whole time they did a great job of sticking to their bid, even when some unexpected things arose. Of course, like all home improvements on old houses, issues arise that are beyond the scope of the original bid - you need to expect this. Whenever these came up, we were immediately informed and discussed a solution and price. This was infrequent, and never did we feel like any of these items were out-of-the-blue or unreasonable. When doing work like this, things can change and it is important to be partnering with a contractor who can work with you, and fully understands the process. For example, part of our original bid was to replace our fireplace surround tile and mantle. During the job, we learned that our fireplace needed $12k of work and full replacement to function - this was beyond our budget. We discussed with Ori, and we quickly re-applied those funds to a roofing issue that had arisen during the project. No arguments, no eye rolls, no resistance - just solutions. The Eco Design Pro team worked at a brisk pace, but never overlooked details. They did an excellent job of staying on schedule and only deviated once when a closet door we needed was on backorder - but they came right back and set a date when it arrived. Ori and the Eco Design Pro team offer something beyond great workmanship to their customers, they offer TRUST - and anyone who has done any major home repairs will tell you, that is a rare quality in this industry

    We had a great experience working with Miron and LA Home Construction. We had about 1800 square feet of pavers put in on our driveway and are very satisfied with the end result. Miron was responsive throughout the entire process, always answering our questions and providing support as we navigated a project that had unexpected complexities. There were some minor issues that Miron happily worked out in a very timely manner. For instance, when the slope did not allow for water to drain appropriately, Miron and the crew were back the following day and it was fixed within just a couple hours. In addition, a delivery truck from a different company drove on the pavers (despite being blocked off with caution tape) before being sealed and so Miron had the pavers cleaned right away in order to make sure that the sealing process was completed correctly. The main crew consisted of three guys who were extremely professional, nice, and hard-working. They were always friendly when I asked questions and they did a great job. We will certainly work with this company again for future home projects. Thank you

    They were able to start earlier that originally scheduled. The workers were competent, punctual, and efficient as had the siding part of the job finished and all but the final coat on the stucco before Christmas. They returned after Christmas to finish the final stucco coat. When that had dried they finished the painting and cleaned up. I have worked with other contractors in the past and found this to be the most straight forward and professionally done project. I would certainly hire them again for future work
