They were even open to working with a home equity loan company I recommended to help me manage costs. They are my go-to HVAC service providers from here on in. He pointed out a potential problem with the control/mother board that could cause the furnace to fail in the future and will provide an estimate for a replacement. Comfort ConnectionWe had a great experience with Comfort Connection. Our furnace stopped working two days before the Christmas holiday. I called and talked directly with he owner. He managed to get someone to our house that afternoon. The technician quickly diagnosed the issue (failed condensation pump), and replaced the unit. You folks never let me down, and as a purchaser of a Heat Pump in 2010, that experience has been significant. My heat went out Monday, 11/23/20. I called Tuesday Morning to 503-620-5643. They ALWAYS pick up this number. Long story short, My system was fixed before dinner. This was accomplished in unusually short timeframe because everything broke in our favor. But this is the type of service has been the rule of what has happened in the last 10 years of service. Thanks to Matt, Matt, Corey, and especially Jason, and exceptional Technician (engineer). I called this company because this was who I purchased the furnace through 8 years prior, through a property company that was managing my house. The technician showed up the first day 2 hours early, the second day a half hour late. He told me there was a recall on a part that would have been covered in the first 5 years, but wasn't now that caused the furnace to stop working. He quoted me $850 to replace the part and the motor. The second day, he told me that the ignitor was out and so the bill would be $1100. But when he got done, the bill total was $1250. I called to ask about the pricing on the parts and they don't detail out what parts they are using from where. I was told that they only guarantee their work for 30 days and the parts manufacturers are 'maybe' up to a year. Very disappointing. Thankful my furnace is working, but an expensive lesson about getting better quotes and upfront costs. Will use another HVAC company next time.
