El Departamento de Derecho Civil celebrará el próximo 19 de noviembre de 2021 una Jornada sobre "Biometría e Inteligencia Artificial: nuevos retos para la protección de datos en la Unión Europea”, que tendrá lugar de forma presencial en el Salón de Grados “Rector Ramón Martín Mateo” de la Facultad de Derecho y en la que intervendrán especialistas de primer nivel en este sector. Dicha actividad se realiza al amparo del proyecto “Los desafíos planteados por la Inteligencia Artificial en el ámbito de la responsabilidad civil” (GV/2021/018), financiado por la Conselleria de Innovación, Universidades, Ciencia y Sociedad Digital.

El Departamento de Derecho civil ha organizado las jornadas sobre El marco regulatorio de las plataformas en linea en la Unión Europea. Las mismas se celebrarán durante los días 8 a 11 de noviembre y están enmarcadas al amparo del proyecto PROMETEO y del Máster en Derecho de la sociedad digital. Durante estos días contarimos con la presencia de destacados expertos en la materia que tratarán los temas más novedosos.

La Rectora de la Universidad de Alicante Dña Amparo Navarro Faure y el Ilustre Colegio Notarial de Valencia han firmado el convenio de creación de la nueva cátedra institucional con el objetivo de convertirse en un núcleo de reflexión, debate e investigación vinculado al Derecho Notarial, con especial atención a las relaciones con el Derecho civil e Internacional Privado.

La cátedra dedicará especial protección de las personas con discapacidad, materia que ha sido objeto de una importante reforma legislativa recientemente.

En la firma del convenio, además de la rectora y del vicedecano del Colegio Notarial ha estado presente la secretaria general, Esther Algarra Prats, el vicesecretario, Josep Ochoa Monzó, el catedrático de Derecho Civil, Juan Antonio Moreno Martínez y el catedrático de Derecho internacional Manuel Desantes Real.

Esta previsto que la próxima semana se realice la primera reunión de la comisión mixta de seguimento de la nueva cátedra´, en la que se aprobará el plan de actuación y se propondrá a la rectora el nombramiento de los órganos de dirección.

El Departamento de derecho civil ha puesto en marcha el Nuevo Máster en Derecho de la Sociedad Digital con el objetivo de formar profesionales especializados para afrontar los retos que las nuevas plantean en los distintos ámbitos del Derecho.

El Máster aborda desde una pespectiva multidisciplinar cuestiones como la protección de datos personales, ciberseguridad, ciberdelincuencia, inteligencia artificial y lo nuevos retos que plantea la condución autónoma entre otras muchas cuestiones.

The Expert in Real Estate Management and Intermediation course is a 200-hour postgraduate degree (20 ECTS credits) co-organized by the Civil Law Department of the University of Alicante and the Official College of Real Estate Agents of Alicante (COAPI) with the aim of offering a training activity of excellence in the field. El periódico nacional El Mundo ha seleccionado al Departamento de Derecho Civil como grupo de investigación de éxito entre todas las ramas del saber, debido a su extensa trayectoria científica reflejada en la actualidad en el desarrollo de cuatro proyectos de investigación, entre los que destaca el prestigioso programa PROMETEO que financia proyectos de grupos de investigación de excelencia.

El pasado día 17 de mayo concluyeron con gran éxito de asistencia las jornadas tituladas "Alojamiento y turismo: Problemática actual de las viviendas de uso turistico", en las que participaron prestigiosos académicos, registradores, abogados y magistrados del Tribunal Supremo. De este modo, la Cátedra Bienvenido Oliver, codirigida por el Colegio Nacional de Registradores y el Departamento de Derecho civil, continúa desarrollando su labor en favor del estudio de las cuestiones de mayor actualidad que plantea el Derecho inmobiliario y registral.

El pasado día 6 de febrero, el Colegio de Registradores de España concedió al Catedrático de Derecho civil de la Universidad de Alicante, Juan Antonio Moreno Martínez, una placa como reconocimiento por su labor científica y académica en el ámbito del Derecho inmobiliario y registral. El acto tuvo lugar en Madrid y fue presidido por la Ministra de Justica, Dolores Delgado, quien entregó la distinción a Juan Antonio Moreno.

El estudio del Derecho inmobiliario y registral viene desarrollándose e impulsándose desde el Departamento de Derecho civil, dirigido por Juan Antonio Moreno, por medio de la Cátedra Bienvenido Oliver, desde la que se organizan y celebran, en colaboración con el Colegio de Registradores, congresos y conferencias dedicadas al análisis de las cuestiones actuales que plantea la materia.

The research group of the Civil Law Department has been awarded with a research project of the prestigious PROMETEO program, funded by the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana, for the study of the "Digital Single Market for Europe: Private Law Aspects" during the period 2018-2021.

The Spanish ABC journal has included in its Special R+D+i on 21st May, 2018 a report on the work developed and the progress made by the intellectual property research group, consisting mostly of researchers from the Civil Law Department of the University of Alicante, being this group a national reference in this field.

The Magister Lvcentinvs, Master in Patent rights and Intellectual of the University of Alicante, initiates this 2017 a new stage with his participation in the European Doctorate "EIPIN Innovation Society", first and only program of subsidized doctorate by the European Union in matter of copyright that splits of the European Network of Institutes of copyright (EIPIN).

The program “EIPIN Innovation Society”, project of the Network of Innovative Training Marie Skodowska Curie funded by the European Union, establishes like this a conjoint doctorate in which they participate, in addition to the University of Alicante, the universities of London, Maastricht, Strasbourg and Augsburg.
