Cedco IronWe were pleased with the work at the time. However, 5 -1/2 years later the gate started to sag and no longer closed. Yesterday we had a representative from Cedco come out to see how the gate could be repaired. The sales rep began arguing with my husband, claiming that the gate must have been “hit” or that the “earth moved” and, therefore, it was not Cedco’s fault. Nothing hit the gate and as far as we know the earth has not moved. Ridiculous. The representative further stated that Cedco does not do small jobs and “IF” they came out it would cost “AT LEAST” $500 to repair. As of today, they have not called to schedule a repair. Don’t use them. They don’t guarantee their work and will not make any repairs even if the customer is willing to pay.- Charles B.

Warren's Handy HandsWarren is one of the best service people I have encountered in my 11 years in Las Vegas! He was extremely responsive, analyzed the problem with the gate and quickly repaired it. While at my house he also repaired some damage to my moldings. I showed him 2 other projects, both of which he came up with creative, cost efficient solutions for them. I’m going to have him back to do those other projects in the next few weeks. If anyone needs a handyman, Warren is the only person to use!- Jay F.

Paramount Fencing IncWhen our son and his family bought a house on a large lot in Clermont, Fl., they were thrilled and we were so happy for them. Until we found out the back yard was not fenced. They have two young children and we were so worried that they would be unsafe without constant adult supervision. I got on Angie's List and after a bit of looking, I found Paramount Fencing 7849 COPPERFIELD CT, ORLANDO, FL 32825 (407)619-0015, owned by Kip and his wife. We live in Las Vegas, Nv. The whole deal was done on our cells, without a hitch. Our son was oblivious of the cost, but he and his wife got to choose the fencing they wanted. There was a last minute addition to cover another window. Other than that, my husband and I just wanted it done before our visit on 3/23/10. It was finished about 2 days before. We weren't there during the construction, but our son's family had nothing but good things to say about the guys that did the work. And the fence is absolutely beautiful! The kids love it and they are safe. Mom and Dad let them go out to play any time, unless it's raining hard. You should really check out the photos. Look at the tops and bottoms of the sections. They are perfectly even, even on the ups and downs of the big back yard!- Judi O.

We used Fairless Homes to remodel our home over a two-year period. We started with removing the prefab tub and shower. The result was so nice it made everything else look shabby and dated. We followed with other major projects like the kitchen and all the flooring. We just finished the master bathroom. We removed a wall in order to make the shower larger and replaced the vanity with custom cabinetry and quartz countertops. A new wall was designed going into the bathroom with a pocket door for privacy. The result is a bright, clean and modern look that we are thrilled with. Each project was finished on time with minimal disruption to us. The owners RJ and Donna were so nice to work with. This is a company that still believes in doing quality work for a fair price. They believe in treating the clients with honesty and integrity. I highly recommend Fairless Homes for any remodeling project big or small.

Pet Playgrounds installed a 6 foot fence in our backyard to create a safe play area for our dogs. The work was done quickly, the price was reasonable, and the fence has held up well to all kinds of weather. It is by far the best fence we have ever had, and I feel better knowing that when the dogs go outside, they are safe and secure.

I chose AR Iron based on the positive reviews on Angi. I called and they scheduled an appointment to measure the side yard and give me an estimate. I wanted a basic gate with mesh backing. He indicated that I would need a panel along with the gate and then provided me with an estimate for $1,080, half of which was payable when I ordered the gate. The balance was due at installation. I decided to order the gate and was told to allow about a month for the gate to be ready. About 3 weeks later, the company called to say that they would be out the following Monday to install the gate. The installers did a beautiful job and in less than an hour, I had my new gate. The gate and panel fit the space perfectly, and the installers cleaned up afterward, so it looks very nice. Very pleased with AR Iron's service.

Living Water was fantastic to work with from beginning to end. From talking to Rebecca (Office person) to make the appointment. The owner Mark coming out to discuss what we wanted in the backyard and how best to get it done. To all the people on the job every day being polite and knowledgeable in answering any questions we might have. The work we wanted was the concrete patio and sidewalk removed and pavers installed, we also wanted the old grill island removed and a new one built, we wanted a fire pit and both to use house gas. Next we wanted the pool deck resurfaced and a 6ft section of it replaced do to cracks. There was auguring of 2 holes 4in watering holes for each of the 4 sumacs. Last but not least all rock removed and new rock put back. After Mark took measurements we talked more about what we wanted and what things cost. Never once did we feel as if he was rushing our conversation. He fully answered all my questions and asked a few of his own. We were told it takes about a week to finish the estimate. 6 days later we got our line by line estimate. At which time we paid $1,000 to have Mark do a computer generation simulation of what our back yard would like. If you accept the bid this goes towards your bill. The work to be completed was removal 15 by 20ft section of concrete patio and attached side walk, removal of old grill island 12X10X4 (stucco and metal frame) , mostly dead grass, 15 to 20 tons of rock, grinding down of pool deck and full replacement of 6ft part of pool deck. Install work was; put in gas line from house to grill island and fire pit, install 20 tons of rock, install 15 plants, build grill island (grill, frig, two drawers and paper towel holder), install 10 lights and control box and install patio pavers from driveway to back of house creating the patio. People to mention; Christian who spent 10 days meticulously building this incredible island BBQ. He cut and laid every block with care. Ensuring each one was just right before cementing any in place. Yugo who had to come out three times to fix plants that weren’t doing well. I can’t say enough about the way we were treated every time we called with questions or concerns. The time everyone took to listen and if need be stop by to see what we were talking about. Thank you all so much for making our back yard this wonderful, peaceful and relaxing space.
