Arta ConstructionWe had interviewed a handful of contractors (the ones who actually showed up to the appointments we made). Some showed up and didn't send estimates or wanted to start without providing one. Or provided overpriced estimates. We were starting to worry...and then we found Arta Construction. We knew instantly we found an honorable, experienced and professional company. Andy is someone who you can shake hands with and know he is going to get the job done. The fit, finish, quality and attention to details were amazing. The heavy doors and special additions to our pre war apartment had a lot of tricky challenges to overcome - uneven floors, leaky windows and radiators - Andy and Arta had a smart solution to any problem and the end result was beautiful. We have a brand new and updated "old detailed" apartment. It is a dream come true. All this was accomplished during the challenging time of the pandemic with many additional restrictions put on us in a building with many, many rules. Arta always had permits in good order, followed all building rules and there was never a single complaint from neighbors. It is so important to have building management not take issue with your contractor. We had no problems at all during a major project. Communication was excellent throughout our relationship. The Arta crew always came to work prepared and with a "no nonsense, get to work attitude" that you appreciate. They value your time and money invested in your project. Our estimate was very reasonable and we stayed perfectly on budget. I highly recommend Arta for projects big and small. They are true artisans and craftsmen and take pride in doing things right and making it right for thier customers. My building super asked if my apartment could be used as a showplace for neighbors to see during construction because it was asked about so often when word got out about our progress. All of our expectations were exceeded. There was never a question or change we asked for that was ever refused. We have already engaged Arta to renovate another apartment for a family member. We are very happy to have Arta Construction as our contractor. They earned our business and will continue to be our construction specialists.- Dennis D.

MC Home Improvements and ConstructionMC Home Improvements and Construction did a complete replacement of our Master Bathroom. The project went extremely well including there estimates of time, labor and cost. The quality of the work and people doing the work were excellent. They set proper expectations, communicated well, cleaned up as expected, and delivered as promised. Any unexpected issues which arose were handled promptly with no delays in project. They really did an expectational job on our bathroom. We also found the vendors which they recommended to use for tile, fixtures, etc. were easy to work with and also meet all of our expectations. Tedora IncWe hired Tedora to remodel our basement. Igor, Vlad and their team did a fantastic job. They were very competitive with their cost estimate. They were also very clear that they charged for labor only and which building materials were to be paid and supplied by us. We preferred them over other contractors that were ambiguous. Also, they were ready to start fairly quick. As they started work, they provided daily status updates. They were also very careful to defer the decisions to us - not just build something that was easy for them. We ran into some unanticipated work, but these guys handled it gracefully at a minimal cost. They were flexible to work around our schedule. They also went out of their way on multiple occasions. Best of all - they finished work before the promised date. These guys are very skilled at what they do. All we had to do is explain our concerns and they would quickly arrive at a solution. Expoal ConstructionAl's company is an excellent resource for remodeling. We used his services to remodel several apartments we have in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The work included gutting kitchens and bathrooms along with painting other rooms. Because of the quality he did in these apartments, we hired him to remodel our kitchen in our suburban NJ townhome. Domenick did a great job of refinishing my cabinets and making them look brand new. The specialized refinishing paint for the cabinets was odorless. He replaced all the hardware and the job was done in approximately 4 days. He also did a beautiful job painting the entire interior of my home. My house looks fresh and new. The painting of my home took about one week. He also did other tasks, replaced an Air Conditioner in the bedroom, put together 2 pieces of furniture from Wayfair, cleared the gutters outside my home. He is pleasant, honest, reliable and a pleasure to do business with.

I reached out in the evening and Isaac contacted me first thing in the morning. I sent him photos of the few small jobs I had, he gave me a very fair prince and he was here the same afternoon to get them all completed. He hung up a light fixture, mounted a gaming unit on the wall, and installed my outdoor camera. It's so hard to get someone reliable, fair, and who does quality work for small projects. Isaac will be my handyman for a long time coming.
