Bruno was an amazing help and very knowledgable in addition to being very personable. He explained everything he was doing every step of the way and gave us heads up on things to look out for post-service. He also helped us get a stronger discount on the whole house service; since I only purchased a single system cleaning off of Angie's List and I had two systems, he worked to get us a 40% discount on all of the remaining services, which was a $364 reduction in cost. I'll use Lowe's again for sure.

Amazing. They visited us the same day that we called and not only solved the problem but also provided maintenance guidelines and tips to enabe us to minimize addtl service calls. He didn't even mind the two dogs barking at him whie he worked on the AC!

I purchased the big deal for a 21 point furnace tuneup for $69. I received a call to schedule the appointment and was able to get an appointment within a couple days on the day and time that worked for me. The technician showed up on time and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time.

The appointment went well. Even prior to the appointment the technician that I spoke with was very very informative about what they do, what to expect and even his honest opinion on what type of contract he felt I needed (not the most expensive one) based upon my own personal situation. I would definitely recommend them.

It seemed to be fine. They came when they said and as far as I can tell they did a great job. I had bought a contract with them last year and they were very good at calling me again this year to schedule. Very easy with scheduling.

JBB found me a technician in a short period of time while going through an office crisis (I could tell when I called...they weren't their usual selves). One of their employees, my favorite tech, was in a bad car accident. Even short-handed and saddened, they were able to arrange for someone to come out and do the work previously planned but not yet scheduled when I needed it done. It was short notice, but my favorite tech knew I would be calling...the office didn't. I called on Tuesday (after the holiday) and they were able to have a tech come out by Thursday afternoon as requested. Amazing. I highly recommend JBB. They have been wonderful in finding affordable solutions and do excellent work and work close to the schedule that they arrange for you.

I purchased the $79 Furnace Clean and Check from Angie's List. Our heater was intermittently turning on and emitting cool air and attempting to turn on, but the burner would repeatedly go out. I know I eventually need to buy a new furnace but I was hoping to have the burner cleaned and hold off the purchase until later. My service from McCrea was promptly scheduled for the day after I purchased it. Jeremy called 30 minutes before arriving and was courteous and professional. He confirmed that the burner simply needed to be cleaned. He also removed my filters so I could clean them. He noted that the heater and vents were very dirty and made a few suggestions but didn't try to up-sale me on anything. My heater is working perfectly and because of Jeremy's service, I would recommend him for his honesty and efficient service.

Mike showed up right on time and performed a thorough inspection, cleaning & testing of our furnace and humidifier. He additionally provided should suggestions as how to correct some design/installation problems with the furnace. Would use him again.

My tech was the best. He went beyond just the minimal and let me know what additional work I needed and serious concerns he had about ,my vents.

We bought one of the Angie's List deals, and we were able to schedule a time for the service 2 days later. The tech showed up and was clean, and he went out of his way to help us think through ways we could improve our heating system. He seemed knowledgeable and provided an estimate for further work before he left. I was happy with how responsive and thorough he was.

We owned our condo for seven months when we noticed a "service needed" alert. We changed the filter, but the alert remained. We called Home Air Services who sent out an experienced technician. The technician cleaned the furnace and explained maintenance, answered all of my questions and gave tips on how to save money in the future.

We have oil heat. Quarles Energy referred us to Appleton when they ended their service program. Appleton's first visit on May 17th was to fulfill Quarles' service agreement with us. We had previously used their plumbing service after research on Angie's List and had been pleased at that time. The technician was on time, neatly dressed and very knowledgable. He explained what he had done and why. We were impressed and so at that time we decided to initiate a service agreement for both our furnace and our AC unit. The year long service agreement was $299.00. On May 24th the service technician came out to inspect our A/C. He, too, was on time, neatly dressed, and seemed very knowledgable. He was more than willing to answer my questions as well as volunteer information that he thought was important. He found mold growing in our inside unit and suggested a U/V light. He wrote up an estimate and explained what we could reasonably expect from the unit, as well as what some of his previous customers with this same unit had experienced. We chose to go ahead with the work and not pursue other estimates. The cost of the unit and installation was $1326.96. We also have an electronic air cleaner as part of our furnace. This was installed by Quarles. The technician also gave me some ideas on cleaning the device that I had not previously known. I have already recommended them to several friends and am definitely very please with their service.

Two young men from the company came to my home to provide serve. They were extremely thorough and explained the what they were looking at while inspecting the system. I felt the cost of the deal was incredibly good given the length of time they spent. In addition, they were very polite and friendly and didn't try to make me feel like an idiot - as some technicians do - while they worked. I would definitely recommend their company to anyone looking for excellent and honest H/VAC service.

I called Jose based on the reviews on Angieslist - my first time using the list. He was polite, promptly returned my call and scheduled the appointment. I told him I had called based on his reviews, and Jose thanked me for the opportunity. I have never had a repair person say that before. Ray, the technician, called a half hour before arrival and was on time. He was polite, thorough, performed an inspection, showed me the state of the interior of my dated HVAC system using an extendable camera, and cleaned the furnace. We're hoping I will get one more year out of it. I signed up for the twice yearly inspection program. I was pleased to hear that unlike the last company I used, this one actually has real 24-hour service. Ray told me they try to schedule no more than eight housecalls a day (besides emergencies of course), so they can provide more personalized service. Thank you Angieslist! Thank you Jose and Ray.

We previously had another company out to look at the furnace of our newly purchased home after it began shutting itself off while in use. The first company claimed to have cleaned it, but apparently not as thoroughly as Ace! The technician was polite and explained the service he was going to provide. He was happy to answer any of my questions along the way and was courteous and helpful when detailing the three different furnace service contracts his company had for customers. Based on the prompt service, courteous technicians, and great job, we will be contacting them to set up a yearly HVAC contract.

I called an asked for a furnace maintenance yearly visit. I found Jose on Angie's List and he was close to my home. He arrived promptly and serviced/cleaned my unit. He advised that the system was old and seemed to be cracking and should be replaced and that I should make sure my carbon monoxide detectors were working properly because of the system and the old rusting duck work. I asked for a quote and he emailed me a quote the next day. I felt his service was prompt and he was courteous and friendly, however I went with another firm that had lower pricing.
