MA Design & Construction CoWe had a great experience working with MA Design & Construction. They care about their work and make sure the customer is happy. We recently wrapped up several projects with them – kitchen and half bath remodel, new flooring, adding new recessed lights, new fireplace hearth and painting all of the first floor and stairwells going up and downstairs. From the beginning, both Marc and Raquel were super responsive, often within minutes and many times well outside of business hours. They listened to what we wanted and Raquel, Marc and their tile guy all offered wonderful suggestions that we did not think of. The initial estimate was accurate and within reason. We wound up going a little over because we needed a new sub-panel installed and decided to go with upgraded countertops. This was not because of any inaccurate forecasting. The team was organized and cleaned up every day. On top of everything, they finished the work earlier than we expected! MA Design & Construction CoI used MA Design & Construction for my kitchen remodel. Raquel and Marc were very helpful in going through the options from painting the existing cabinets through to full replacement. We started with more modest changes but after debate ended with essentially their initial recommendation. The workers throughout the project were professional and I never felt uneasy with them being around the family. As the project progressed there were recommendations that Marc or Raquel would make which led to a better outcome. Marc would also pick out imperfections in the work and insure they were addressed which was appreciated. We're very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to work with them again.- nick c.

They answered the phone right away and came out within a couple of days to look at our projects. One of the main reasons we hired them was because they were a local company and had a good reputation. We are glad we selected them though. One of our biggest concerns was cleanliness as we are both very allergic to dust. Bertola Custom Homes & RemodelingJoe and his team did a superb job of renovating my bathroom in a 1929 vintage building in Cambridge, MA. The final result is modern and highly functional while looking beautiful in an older building. Joe helped me pick materials and finishes that I would not have discovered on my own. He and his team were respectful of my home making sure that there was as little disruption as possible and wore masks and maintained distance at all times. When I miscommunicated with a house cleaner near the end of the project, Joe did much of the cleaning himself. Above and beyond. Last but not least, the work was finished on time. Amazing. D & S Partners ConstructionWe are very happy with Sanfer and his crew. This was our first major remodel and we were prepared for the worst. After meeting several contractors, we chose Sanfer because he came in with a lot of great ideas and instilled a confidence that other did not. He was very honest about managing expectations and also keeping us updated about delays (2020/21 has been extremely busy for contractors). The previous owners had done a lot of bad DIY but Sanfer assured me it was nothing they couldn’t handle and eased my anxiety. Everyone on the crew was very nice and respectful and the communication was top notch. Sanfer always responds to texts and emails in a timely manner and you will not find any “lazy” people on these team! They will do whatever to get the job done. I have received so many compliments on my bathroom and I’ve literally gone from bathroom **** to bathroom heaven! When we were having problems dealing with a vendor, Corey stepped in immediately to smooth things over and followed up to make sure that we were satisfied with the outcome. Step by Step Home Improvement Corp.Geferson is a pleasure to work with. He was recommended to us for a basement bathroom project, and he did an amazing job. He was very patient with our design changes, and when something didn't fit properly he found creative solutions. The finished project is beautiful and two years later looks brand new. Our second project was a complete redo of all the cabinetry in the laundry room, and again it looks perfect. Finally, he did a strange project for us during the pandemic. Our back porch was a disaster underneath, and he cleaned the junk and bad dirt down four inches, put in a trellis and chicken wire, and filled it with clean stones. Voila, instant huge outside playroom for our cats. They absolutely love it. Geferson communicates very well and charges fair prices. He likes to charge only for the labor and actual construction material, and you pick and pay for all the fixtures, paint, tile, etc. That way you get exactly what you want. He is completely insured and bonded, but works by himself with associates coming in when needed. Like all contractors, he does several jobs at once, so he may disappear for a day or two, but we've never felt that things were stretched out too far. We are just starting out on a major rebuild of two more bathrooms, and looking forward to working with Geferson again!- Brian B.

AW Puma Construction & Remodeling LLCI had them build a small sunroom on back of house. We had an old deck falling apart on the back of the house. We decided to have it removed and then build a small three season space that we could enjoy for the colder months. The bathroom needed some TLC and was potentially even original or semi-original. Clear breakdown of allowances/estimates, including any change orders. Friendly, reliable staff. Which is a huge comfort for a family having work done in their home - especially with young kids. Jim, Ryan, John, Jay and team were fantastic. This is the second time we have hired a Britton team. We have always been very pleased with the work from the scoping of the project to the renovation process, completion and even the final punch list. Both projects were on time and on budget. We find because of their experience, their recommendations of subtle design options and suggestions make a big difference in the end product. The project that was just completed involved multiple out-sourcing as well. All was handled smoothly and professionally. We rebuilt a garage, added a beautiful bedroom and bath above the garage, replaced the roof and gutters, remodeled two existing bathrooms, replaced many of the interior doors and replaced shutters and some siding. The only delay in the project was caused by city permitting issues. Communication was good with respect to timeline as well as when decisions were needed. I also work at home and worked through this project with their understanding and planning. They also work well with animals in the home through a project. The team has long relationships with many of the subcontractors and the immediate team are great craftsman and workers. We are very pleased with our new space, grateful to the Britton team, would call them again for a future project and highly recommend their work!

The guys from Tom Curren Companies did an excellent job. We had about 15 windows replaced, and it was not a simple replacement, as we wanted the new windows to be at least the same size as the old ones. They were very professional, responsive, courteous, and did great quality work. They also took care to clean all debris and even dust (!) before completing the job. We would definitely recommend them, and would hire them again in the future.

Needed an unfinished room turned into a bedroom within a month. Nilton and his team were able to start right away and finished the room within our time frame. They were clean and hard-working. Communication was easy. Fair price. They installed insulation, wall board, some electrical, flooring, closets and painted. Very happy with the quality of work and we are planning to hire them soon to remodel our bathroom.
