    I just heard about the passing of the senior Violin vidvan Thiru Sikkil Bhaskaran who trained under the stalwarts Mayavaram Govindaraja Pillai and Kumbakonam Rajamanickam Pillai. He was known for his old style accompaniment, was most affable and had a wonderful sense of humour

    Irrespective of political inclinations, diversity is unfortunately not a natural thought among men. And if you feel none of the women (there are only few) Judges of the Supreme Court suit your discussion get people from civil society and change the nature of your panel.

    Can’t our human rights friends find any women to speak on UAPA, sedition etc? Do you think sexual harassment is a minor peccadillo ? Why ignore that AKG was indicted by a 3-judge SC committee for sexually harassing an intern?
