Done Right Landscape & ConstructionDone right landscaping is the best in the business. Bruce completely renovated my front yard, gave design ideas for the house to improve our home aesthetic. He also added in doing the side of my house completely free of charge to make it look as good as the front! I have hired 3 landscapers in the past to try to make my front yard look beautiful, but no one met my expectations until now. High quality, professional, above and beyond results. They came with 5 trucks, and did what was a whole week of work in a day period. I can not express enough how happy and grateful I am for this. Always making sure that we were comfortable and well informed during the entire project! Bruce turned our backyard into a 5-Star Resort that we will enjoy for many years to come. The hardscape around the pool that Bruce recommended has not only added value to our home but also gave us so much more outdoor living space then we could’ve imagined possible to give us an entirely different feel. He also installed a custom gas fire-pit with a circular patio and free standing bench wall with a bluestone coping. Baker Elman PlumbingVery satisfied. Frank was extremely professional and pleasant. Inquired from both my wife and my self whether his truck was blocking our exit and if he should move. Investigated problem. A pipe joint had failed. It was a complicated piece to repair as it had many turns and went through the wall of our house. He soldered the pieces together before inserting through the wall - something that the original plumber for our house apparently did not do and therefore was not able to get a good solder joint in the tight space available. Our work seemed all very neatly done. I had lent Frank a 50' extension cord so he would not have to go back to his truck to get one. When I came down at the end he had coiled the extension cord in an amazingly neat fashion - a fitting conclusion to a very professional job. I would gladly welcome Baker Elman and Frank back for future plumbing needs.- Jeannie L.

Waited for one month fir a tech to come out. Tech showed up at the wrong time. Replaced back flow valve incorrectly causing water to leak/spray out when sprinklers turned on. Caller Berardi they initially said they can come back in one month to fix the problem they created. After I explained that my grass will dry out after a month of no water they said the owner would come the next day between 8 and 12 to fix the problem. Next day they call me back and tell me the owner will not be coming because he does not have tools on his truck. The best they can do is have a tech come in two weeks. Don’t do business with Berardi irrigation. They have incompetent techs and are not interested in resolving the problems their tech create in a timely manner. They will make promises they will not keep leaving you to deal with their incompetence on your own.

Jim came immediately to see it and quickly returned an estimate which, after waiting some time for other estimates, turned out to be in the middle of the 4 estimates we got; however with a little negotiation, we decided to go with J&R. Since we were flexible on the timing as well as a little undecided about the paver color mix that we wanted, the work didn't happen for some time, which was not a problem for us. However, during that time, I felt the communication from Jim was lacking. For example, we asked Jim for some guidance on paver color mix, and he said he'd get info from his providers & get back to me, but never did. Communication around the removal of the stains was similar. Regarding dates for the work, his original estimate of when the work would start didn't happen (which again wasn't a big deal for us because of our flexiblity, however we would have appreciated a call to tell us of the delay), and at times workers would just show up without our being informed ahead of time. I know Jim is juggling a number of jobs and so is very busy, and maybe it's just me, but I found these things annoying. However, once the team of masons arrived, they were wonderful! They WERE responsive to our questions and they worked really hard. The job proved more challenging and time-consuming than originally thought because the amount of curve in the walkway required a LOT of cutting, but the result was really fantastic and we are very happy with our new beautiful walkway!
