Done Right Landscape & ConstructionThis is my 2nd time calling Bruce. As if the 1st time wasn't amazing enough I Wanted to completely transform the front of my house. There are simply no words to describe how professional and accommodating Bruce and done right were. I would be doing them no Justice to say they did a great job. The level of detail that got put into my property is unparalleled. When I 1st purchased my home The front was a complete disaster. Overgrown bushes, trees this it was an overall scary sight to see. Every time I pull into my home now it feels so inviting and I smile every time i pull into my driveway! Roma Home PaintingRoma did an excellent job of painting the interior of my condo as well as painting common spaces in my condo association building. The work in the commons spaces was difficult as significant prep work needed to be done before the primer and final coats of paint were applied. The final result was superb. Dimitri’s Painting & MasonryExcellent. His crew of 3-5 men arrived shortly before 7am and started on the dot. They worked so hard all day (zero time wasted) and at the end of the day cleaned up (you would never know they were there). The men working for him were respectful and fixed anything we asked. (Small drips around the house and screens) Dimitri also did masonry maintenance work for us as well. I found him to be extremely responsive and very good to his workers. (One hot day he stopped by with ice-cream for their break). Pleasure doing business, highly recommend this local company. 🙂- Amy D.

Eddie and SimonEddie and Simon did a superb job repointing the masonry between the granite blocks in our 170+ year old garage's first story. The granite garage also serves as the foundation to a second story garage above it, so it bears quite a load. This garage faces the water and the Northeast Storms year round give it a good pounding. Additionally, it's on a major thoroughfare going up towards several industrial parks, so 18 wheel trucks, dump trucks and other heavy equipment send vibrations through from 5 AM until 8 PM most days of the week. Eddie & Simon did a great job reinforcing and repointing the granite blocks. They also did some repointing of the brick foundation in the house. Oscar and his men were extremely hard working and did an excellent job removing and replacing our brick retaining wall. They cleaned and reused some of the old over baked brick for a perfect match to the old walls on the property. They also demolished and filled in a gunite pool and covered it over with a brick patio ( excellent workmanship). In addition they installed a PVC fence and also custom built a horizontal fence. All work was done on a timely and professional manner. I have recommended Oscar to a close friend and he was also very satisfied with his work and price His prices are very competitive. .

We needed to replace a the brick stairway at the front entrance of our house. We wanted to replace it with some sort of stone rather than sticking with brick. Commonwealth did a great job from start to finish. This began with a long conversation about our stone and material choices for the new stairs. Sean from Commonwealth was very knowledgeable and experienced, and this helped us have confidence that we were going to end up with a good design. The work was done quickly and without incident. The work was completed on schedule, and the stairs turned out beautifully. We would definitely use Commonwealth Masonry for future jobs, and would recommend them to others.

I hired them in April 2020 for the sidewalk and railings. They were professional, punctual, very hard working, honest and overall awesome. I hired them again in August 2020 to install the fence.. I can't say enough good things about them.

They did a great job cleaning up and building the wall, but everything else was a mess. Instead of grass, I have weeds because they were too busy with other jobs and did not fertilize, etc., in time for the grass to grow. I paid a lot of money for grass at the back and side of my house and ended up with weeds. I am in the process of hiring another company to fix the lawn. I am not happy about the additional cost. In addition to planting seeds in one area they planted sod at the front of my house but were in such a hurry to complete the job and move on to their next job that they did not prepare the soil before laying the sod, some parts of the sod were even laid on rocks so of course the grass is dying. I'm going to have to spend more money to have someone else do this the right now. Regarding the chain-link fence, they installed a flimsy cheap fence but charged me a lot of money and insisted that I pay extra to secure it at the bottom. I also had to ask them to secure it at the top. After a very heated argument, they then secured the fence but not completely. I live in an area with lots of wild animals and explained before signing the contract that I would like the fence built to keep wild animals out of my yard. Because the fence is not properly secure, small wild animals can still enter from the bottom, so I will have to secure it myself. With regards to the white vinyl fence, they did not measure correctly before ordering. From a distance, the fence looks great, but upon close observation, it's a mess. They literally butchered my expensive vinyl fence to make different pieces fit. There are cuts all over with dirty white glue. They rushed the fence installation to move on to another project. Also, the fence isn't solid; it shakes when it's windy. I regret hiring this company. It seems like they are great with small jobs but can't manage big projects and people need to know this before wasting their money.
