The reno included demolition, framing for new roofline and dormers, roof and gutters, siding, new master bathroom, master closet, laundry space, wood floor and stairs, doors, millwork, tiling, masonry for a chimney extension, windows, and central air system. Chris is a great guy, very easy to work with it, trustworthy, and responsive. He hires skilled subcontractors and kept the reno moving at a good pace. J & S Painting Plus IncJ&S painting painted the entire first floor of our house - almost 2000 square feet. They also put up some new walls and doors before painting. I have nothing but great things to say about J&S. Sheki, the owner, was tremendously prompt and fair. He came for an estimate within 24 hours of first contact. He provided a quote within 1 hour of leaving my house. And his men were ready to begin working the next week. The price was fair. He came to the house every day to make sure things were going smoothly and to make sure that we were happy. A pleasure to deal with. Edgar, Carlos, and Edgar did great work. They paid attention to details, were careful, and made everything look great. They were on time every day and worked efficiently. They were orderly in moving from room to room so that we could keep using as much of the house as possible during the work, they left everything spotless, and they took great care with all of our possessions. J & S Painting Plus IncSuperb. Highly recommend working with Jay and his team. They are professional, detail oriented, efficient and straightforward. I'll definitely be bringing them back for any future painting projects we have. They completed a big project for us well under the estimated timeline and exactly on budget. The project involved removing a ton of wallpaper, removing wall-to-wall mirrors that had been glued to the walls decades ago, painting ~2,500 square feet of interior house, painting our front door, and wallpapering a couple rooms. All in all, it took 6 days, which was faster than I expected (the original quote was for 1.5-2 weeks). We had a couple changes along the way, and Jay and his team were super flexible and accommodating with us. Josue was our crew leader, and we were incredibly impressed by him-- he painted our interior windows meticulously by hand and ensured no detail went unnoticed. They started work right away and Dave kept us informed of possible delays with furnishings due to the Pandemic. He always followed up with the cabinet and granite manufacturers and kept us informed of their progress. The crew was excellent and clean. Everyday they left all work areas clean. Flying Colors Roofing and PaintersSteven and team did an outstanding job turning our home from one with chipped paint from multiple terrible painting jobs and gapping holes from woodpeckers to looking like a brand new home! The team replaced all damaged shingles, removed an old door and added shingles in its place to match the rest of the house, sanded down the old paint (over multiple days) and then painted beautifully. They also took some extra days to remove old wallpaper up our stairs and in our hallways, repaired the drywall and repainted. Every day the team was onsite and ready to work at the time we were told (and usually even early) and the project was wrapped up exactly when we were told, and surpassed all of our expectations. I opted to pay an hourly rate which ended up being more expensive than a flat rate, so beware of making this mistake. I had many small projects so that is why I chose the hourly rate. The professionals labored very hard, and worked under quite cramped and difficult conditions due to the need to empty out storage closets and remove all furnishings from the walls. I did not participate in the initial solution to mount roller doors on the storage closets and this required that another professional had to come an additional day to revise the solution. I am very pleased with the final solution for the storage closets roller doors. Keep your own log of actual hours worked to avoid any questions of billed hours and also the supplies that you purchase with your own money to avoid being billed again by contractor. This is not specific to this contractor, just good advice. I would hire again and recommend wood and cable.

Everything turned out very nicely and I was extremely pleased with the quality of work done. Thomas and his assistant arrived on time and did a fantastic job; very neat, clean and the result is exceptional . They replaced the damaged walls in my long hallway and bedroom and in a few other small areas with 3 coats plaster, primer and painted entire area. This was a 2 day job and since the job was finished sooner than expected and he had the time, he agreed to paint the interior of the garage which really needed a thorough cleaning. Came out beautiful. I will definitely use the services of Argostoli again. Very reliable and highly recommend Thomas and his company.
