    Some ACTUAL personal news: The story I wrote on FC Juarez on the day after El Paso massacre, will be in Best American Sports Writing 2020 - comes out in early November. This review from Publisher's Weekly called it one of book's 3 memorable stories.

    TIL: Lincoln was presented with a plan to end the U.S. Civil War by uniting union and confederate armies. Then, together, theyd invade Mexico while France had some control of it. Obviously, Lincoln chose to not do that.
