Track attendance in video meetings and live streams

You can use this feature only if your organization supports it. For help, contact your administrator.

In Google Meet, if you organize a video meeting with 5 or more participants or create a live stream event, you can get an attendance report.

  • Google Workspace for Education Plus users automatically get attendance reports.
  • Other Google Workspace users can turn attendance tracking and live stream reports on or off from Meet or Google Calendar.

  1. Open Meet and join a meeting.
  2. At the bottom, click More ""and thenSettingsand thenHost controls.
  3. Turn Attendance tracking on or off.

Turn attendance tracking on or off in a new Calendar event

  1. Open Calendar.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Click Add Google Meet video conferencing.
  4. Click Settings ""and thencheck or uncheck the Attendance tracking box.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Finish setting up your event.

  1. Open Calendar.
  2. Click an existing meetingand thenclick Edit event "".
  3. Next to Join with Google Meet, click Settings ""and thencheck or uncheck the Attendance tracking box.
  4. Click Save.
