Track attendance in video meetings and live streams

You can use this feature only if your organization supports it. For help, contact your administrator.

In Google Meet, if you organize a video meeting with 5 or more participants or create a live stream event, you can get an attendance report.

Google Workspace for Education Plus users automatically get attendance reports.
Other Google Workspace users can turn attendance tracking and live stream reports on or off from Meet or Google Calendar.

Turn attendance tracking on or off in Meet

Open Meet and join a meeting.
At the bottom, click More SettingsHost controls.
Turn Attendance tracking on or off.

Turn attendance tracking on or off in a new Calendar event

Open Calendar.
Click Create.
Click Add Google Meet video conferencing.
Click Settings check or uncheck the Attendance tracking box.
Click Save.
Finish setting up your event.

Turn attendance tracking on or off in an existing Calendar event

Open Calendar.
Click an existing meetingclick Edit event .
Next to Join with Google Meet, click Settings check or uncheck the Attendance tracking box.
Click Save.
