    (1) Speaking of subtle censorship in China on 04 June, the emoticon for candle has disappeared from the drop down menus in WeChat/QQ, though one can still manually type [蜡烛] into the dialogue box. It is also not possible to change profile picture due to ‘system maintenance’.

    Google buried locations settings so users wouldn't disable them, because their business is built on collecting personal information and using it for ads. Privacy is only possible when we dismantle surveillance capitalism.

    🚨 Starting July 15, Tor Browser will no longer support v2 onion services. 🚨 As we announced last year, v2 will be deprecated & obsolete in Tor 0.4.6.x. If you are an onion site administrator, you must upgrade to v3 onion services as soon as possible:

    If you run a Bitcoin full node and still use v2 onion services, you should update as soon as possible. The next major release of Bitcoin Core is dropping v2 support. If you run a Bitcoin full node and still use v2 onion services, update now.

    In version 0.21 added support for Tor V3: For the next major release we're dropping V2 support. Their usability will rapidly diminish the next few months, as they're deprecated and will soon remove support.
