    Today we mailed over 5,000 Take Home STEM kits to schools in Northwestern Ontario, thanks to a sponsorship from the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. Our STEM kits are filled with materials and instructions for students to create science experiments! 🤩

    Remember to never look directly at the sun without eclipse glasses. You can view the eclipse indirectly by looking at a shadow casted through an item that has small hole(s)! Staff Scientist Olathe's favourite thing to use is a straining colander. (+)

    We are all set to live stream the partial annular solar eclipse this Thursday, June 10! In Greater Sudbury, the sun will rise at 5:31 am at nearly maximum eclipse, which will occur at 5:45 am. To view the eclipse in person, find a high spot with a good view of 56° NE. (+)
