INFORMACIÓ SOBRE LA COVID-19 A LA UNIVERSITAT D'ALACANT

The International Language and Law Association (ILLA) is pleased to announce the 5th ILLA General Conference to be held at the University of Alacant (Spain) from 7 to 9 September 2021. As in the last two conferences-University of Freiburg 2017 and UCLA 2019, this General Conference will be precediu by other pre-conference academic events: the 2nd ILLA Colloquium for PhD Students (5 September 2021) and the 3rd ILLA Focus Conference on Forensic Linguistics (6 September 2021) to be held at the same location.

ILLA and the local organising committee from the University of Alacant llaure planning for the 2nd ILLA Colloquium for PhD Students, the 3rd ILLA Focus Conference on Forensic Linguistics, and the 5th ILLA General Conference to proceed as planned while simultaneously making alternative plans for remote participation and attendance options.

The call for papers is open from 1 October 2020 and will be closed on 1 December 2020. For abstract submission to the conferences, please go to: www.illaconferences2021.ua.es. Please find attached the full de mà of the conference.

Oferta de direcció de beques de col·laboració

La revista del Departament de Filologia Anglesa, Revista Alacantina d'Estudis Anglesos/Alacant Journal of English Studies, dirigida pels professors Isabel Balteiro i Miguel Ángel Campos, ha sigut reconeguda per la Fundació Espanyola per a la Ciència i la Tecnologia (FECYT), organisme depenent del Ministeri de Ciència i Innovació, com a Revista Científica Excel·lent i guardonada amb el respectiu certificat i segell d'excel·lència.

La directora general de la FECYT i el director general de l'ANECA van lliurar aquest guardó a la Dra. Balteiro en un acte celebrat el 5 de setembre en l'Auditori del Museu Nacional de la Ciència i la Tecnologia.
