The professor of Inorganic Chemistry of the UA and electo president of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), Javier García Martínez, has been named 'Fellow' of the American Chemical Society. It is the first time that a Spaniard os recpgmozed by this scientific society in its almost 150 years ofhistory with its highest distinction that only 1% of itsmembers receive.
