Comment: Purpose of wall is to reduce road noise and provide privacy. Height limit is 6'. Per King Co. Code 21a.14.220, height total of 10' is allowed if built on retaining wall or rockery, which is our preference in order to maximize sound reduction and obstruct view of unattractive hillside across the street. Total fence line is 140 feet, less two driveways (single car width each) and a man gate. Current rockery exists but is only 2' high at highest point. Would like to know if it is possible to add to it to increase its height to 4'. We are in the process of obtaining quotes and are motivated to have this project completed within the next 1-2 months, or earlier, if the contractor's availability allows.
