Magnolia Home Remodeling GroupWe worked with Chris from Magnolia on a second floor remodel and were extremely happy with the process and results. The reno included demolition, framing for new roofline and dormers, roof and gutters, siding, new master bathroom, master closet, laundry space, wood floor and stairs, doors, millwork, tiling, masonry for a chimney extension, windows, and central air system. Chris is a great guy, very easy to work with it, trustworthy, and responsive. He hires skilled subcontractors and kept the reno moving at a good pace. There were no surprises with either the budget or scope of work. Magnolia made our dreams come true with this reno and we would definitely recommend them for your job.- Beth H.

They started work right away and Dave kept us informed of possible delays with furnishings due to the Pandemic. He always followed up with the cabinet and granite manufacturers and kept us informed of their progress. The crew was excellent and clean. Everyday they left all work areas clean. MC Home Improvements and ConstructionMC Home did an incredible job customizing our new home. We found them August 2020, moved into the house October 2020 and began work in November. The crew was a delight to have at the house everyday while we were home working, of course noisy with the demo but we made it work! Availability for materials/doors/windows delayed the project at times which was out of their control. Word of advice during home remodel during Covid, don't delay decision making! Eric did a great job explaining things that we didn't know or other ways to think of how to build/style. The sunroom is hands down our favorite room in the house. The fireplace needed a makeover - MC Home gave some great suggestions on trim/moulding styles and it was done in a week. Overall, I appreciated the time Eric and the team took to make sure we understood the process and keeping us in the loop as it progressed each week. Project costs were reasonable and in line with industry standard. We'll definitely recommend them to friends/family and use MC Home in the future!- Candace K.

Scott from CEL was very professional and efficient. I needed a ceiling fan and pendant light fixture installed, as well as an electrical outlet added. Scott accomplished nearly all of this within two hours, and came back a few days later with some specialized parts needed to finish the job. He alerted me to the sub-par quality of the wiring in my apartment, and took the necessary steps (such as adding a ground for the light switch) to assure that this new work would be sound. When I purchased the fixtures I initially attempted to find an electrician through Home Depot’s “pro referral” service, but was turned off by a scammy booking service that wanted a substantial deposit before anyone had seen my apartment in-person. That’s when I found CEL through Angie’s list. Scott came to my apartment the same day and provided a very reasonable quote which didn’t budge despite the audibles required by my old building. It’s great to know a reliable electrician in my area. I’ll be working with them in the future.

Prompt response to call by manager, advise given as to what to check on roof after they remove fixture. Electrician Steve advised when he would arrive. They were a calming, reassuring presence. Very professional, took care of it right away. We also called them to reattach the fixture after the problem on the roof was corrected. Second time they were just as prompt and professional. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Marvin was on time. When he left to move his truck and when he left to purchase/get staples to finish job you are trying to charge me for that time!? Even after Sal in office and tech both told me the time/clock had paused. Kathleen trying to tell me that Marvin wasn't right guy to do job. But she will have him do it as COURTESY!? Then why send him? No staples in an electrician truck? I have 5 security cameras that depict actual times tech was here and not here.
