However, we’ve done this before and are repeat customers. We’ve also used Landmark, their affiliated pest control company, to take care of some mouse issues we had. I originally had squirrels nesting withing the stack and water had damaged the ductwork with rust and ducting that collapsed. There was no flow for the carbon monoxide from the furnace, so I had to replace the system.- Steve T.

The technician searched within a storage area containing stacked furniture and various household items, and was very careful moving them out of his way. As he got closer to the offensive odor he set more things aside and finally saw the dead rat. He dropped it in a heavy plastic bag, tied the bag shut, and treated the site with a non-toxic powder to eliminate the odor and kill bacteria and parasites. He was efficient and respectful. She offered me emergency option and next day option and was clear about what I could expect. I chose next day for financial reasons. Matt was the technician assigned to me and he called to let me know when he would arrive and I was able to walk him through the issue over the phone before he arrived. He was thorough, neat, and kind. He worked efficiently and walked me through each step he was taking to attempt the capture and removal of the trapped bird. Very relieved that it was successful! I can't believe this company is on Angie's List. I called and they said it's $50 to inspect for where mice are coming in. He looked in basement and attic, and tried to sell me a year plan at $100 a month to get rid of any possible mice. He could not tell me if I currently have mice; just that I had them in the past (which I know we have). Usually, the company will put down poison in attic --when I asked him to pay him to do that, he said, they only sell yearly plans. $1200 to get rid of mice? That's alright. I'll pass.

I just want to put this review to say that the price asked for the job performed is just outrageous. I have mice issue and the gentleman from mice Hunters came in as scheduled ( that was nice). However, I was expecting him to inspect the unit, see where the mice are coming from, seal some holes (as I read on reviews). None of that happened. He came in, told me that his job is to put 6 bait/traps in the kitchen and that's it. $195 for literally 1 minute. No holes sealed, no inspection, nothing. The same night, I went to Menards and found the EXACT same bait/trap for $8.49 a pack of 4. So, maybe the baits are working, but you can do the same job for less than $10. I will not hire again as the price is ABSOLUTELY not worth it.

I called and got a quote over the phone. He told me $135. He showed up and charged my $175. I reminded him that he told me $135 and he said I must've confused him with another company. Nope, the only reason I went with him was because of his being the cheapest price. Come in, retrieve a dead animal and leave. For that I was charged $175 instead of the $135 he told me. After that he was the most expensive. Never again. Even if it was a misunderstanding, you lose a customer over $45 and an integrity question.

They were great the first year and then consistently went downhill. I ask to come when I was home because of the dogs and every time that was an issue. Then I would pre-pay for 3 -4 services and they either would not come or would do a "fast" spray. The last service for this year I got an email they were coming and then nothing. I know because I have cameras around the house. When I complained they told me they would send some to do the spray (this was a week ago) you know the bugs are really bad in a freeze? Done, will not use anymore and will not recommend.

Mice guys did a great job. We had a mice investation and they thought they had found the source and fixed it. A year later we had more mice. They eagerly honored their warranty and searched for additional places where the mice could possibly enter the house and fixed those as well ( even on the opposite end of the house). A year later, the mice are still gone. We did have to set and clean traps for the mice already in the house, but that was expected.
