    We had Alpha Foundations come out to check the foundation due to minor flooding problems at the back of the house. Jason came to evaluate the situation and determined that the foundation settlement was slightly within the range of suggesting repair. He suggested at least using their expanding foam product for waterproofing. We decided to have both done in order to have the foundation stabilized permanently as well as the needed waterproofing work. Adlai and Terrence did a great job of installing several helical piers at the back of the house. They had to come back multiple times (with no complaints) due to weather problems (excessive rain filling holes before refilling and the need to pour concrete to repair patio where one helical pier was placed) and a city inspection timing problem. (The City of Jacksonville claimed they had no permit information even though I had a printed permit form already on my window with the inspector's name on it.) They did excellent foundation work and were always professional, answered questions, cleaned up after themselves, and even performed small additional functions not normally required. The waterproofing crew also did excellent work - answering questions, cleaning up after themselves, and leaving little evidence of their work of drilling holes in the slab and filling them with expanding foam to level the slab inside as well as placing foam around the area outside for exterior waterproofing. Although the foundation work was expensive, it was worth it due to the superior service provided. In all, the entire Alpha team - from the design tech to customer service, accounting, installation teams, etc. - was professional, courteous, helpful, and did their jobs well

    1960 home with floors sagging in the kitchen and bath. Foundation blocks had settled/leaning, due to excessive moisture over the years. Concerned the blocks would fall. The work was completed in 4-6 hours with a 5 year warrantee. The read ahead package provides all the information a person would need to be able to understand the process.

    I initially spoke over the phone with Nancy at the Alpha home office the week before Christmas, 2010. She was extremely pleasant and informative. She set me up for an inspection and estimate on January 7, 2011 with Mason Frascona. Mason was very helpful and provided additional information on the method of foundation repair used by Alpha. Having done my homework on the various types of foundation repair, I was already leaning toward their method. Their estimate was in line with others that I had had done and I was particularily attracted to the transferable warrenty. Work was scheduled to begin the week of January 24th. I got a call on Monday the 24th letting me know that the guys would be showing up that afternoon for initial site check and prep work. They did need to move my main water line due to the location for one of the piers, but they took care of that within an hour at no additional cost. The piers were installed on the 25th and the job was completed by noon. The work site was returned to pre-work condition with only the loss of a couple of small plants. I had to request a copy of the warranty as they did not have it with them, but it was emailed to me by the end of the day. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience

    These are professional and honest people. Danny Flynn, the crew foreman and Dylan Peebles and Ricky came out and finished the job within 2 days. I am extremely satisfied. Foundation damage is serious business and most homeowners may not be aware or underestimate the importance of finding out if your home needs repairs to your foundation. I recommend to call these guys and let them give your house an assessment if you think you may be experiencing damage to your home's foundation which can be in the form of hairline fractures and/or cracks to your walls both inside and outside the home.     I would give Foundation Systems Inc. an A+ if I could. I have a zigzag crack in my brick facia. A technician came out and dug down and examined the foundation. I was informed that my foundation is sound and not in need of reinforcement. The charge? Nothing. No cost at all. All that is needed is some cosmetic work on my brick fascia. I am astounded at the honesty and integrity of this contractor. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone

    Water repellent through slab was successful. No further moisture coming up through flooring. Bedroom floor is a matching continuation of the wood laminate throughout the house. Floor was already damaged by water so that FFA did not damage perfect flooring. Workers just destroyed more of the flooring with their tools. Not my main complaint. Main complaint: Same workers dug a trench and inserted drainage system from the downspout to remove water running off roof. End of drainage piping is sufficiently far from foundation to stop water from backing up against house. When they dug the trench, they destroyed the heart of my irrigation system, breaking 4 sets of pipes. There were 2 small trees above the area in which they dug and they realized that their digging broke the irrigation pipes and damaged those trees. When I complained to FFA, they sent the same 2 people two or three times more to fix the irrigation system that they had destroyed. They were unable to do the repairs. FFA representative told me they needed a company to do irrigation repairs and would send someone to do the job. After waiting a month, I called them again asking about the company they were sending. That was when they told me that they couldn't find anyone who could fix the irrigation. Their representative told me that I should hire a local company to do the irrigation repairs and that they would pay them directly. I did hire a company, which removed the two trees and repaired the broken system. Two men worked at that job for three days and completed the job successfully. I forwarded their bill to FFA repeatedly, over a period of months and contacted FFA by phone as well. The second company, Sumlin Solutions, was still waiting for their payment and ran out of patience. I finally paid their bill myself, since they had done the job and were entitled to their payment. All told I have paid out $4,338 for the work that was done at my home: Florida Foundation Authority received $2,050.47 Sumlin Solutions, LLC received $2,288.0

Travis King came to our home on time and was extremely informative and professional. He gave us very good advice on what we could do to solve the problem without having to do enormous and expensive work to the foundation that would result in us having to retile our entire downstairs.     Dwight from Cornerstone Construction is the REAL deal! I am probably one of the pickiest people when it comes to contractors. I have never liked a single one, but Dwight is absolutely wonderful. They have remodeled our entire kitchen (removed our whole old kitchen and replaced it with a brand new kitchen including appliances, exhaust, backsplash, etc) - it looks perfect, which I NEVER say.
