Top Awning Repair in Ashburn

The Whiting Company replaced our roof a few years ago. I saw a shingle had come off the other day. Called up Tim and he got his crew out today to fix it just before the storm rolled in. Thanks!!!

Dropped off and told them there was no rush on it since it was the end of the season. We had it back fixed 2 weeks later, Less that what they told us it would be. This was not the first time we have used them but have been the best RV repair company that my wife and I have ever used by far, and we have been RV'n for 20 plus years. Ask for Wade.

We needed to have our retractable awning fixed on our home, and was initially hopeful when the rep. (Martha) from Exclusive Awnings came, looked at it, and offered to repair it for $275. When her crew came out, they made the problem worse, and then said they could not fix it, and left. Initially she denied the problem and said her crew left it just like they found it, but after I sent her photographic evidence, she said she would send the crew back to out it back the way it was when they started. That has never happened. Definitely stay away from Exclusive Awnings!

Very well. Steve did his usual great job: He replaced the existing screws with longer ones and re-fixed the siding. The door opens and closes perfectly now and the repair is practically invisible. Since our 2-hour minimum had some time remaining, Steve looked at a number of other potential projects (e.g., a balky garage door) and made recommendations. Steve's a true professional who charges resonable prices and is very honest about what he can and cannot do. We have used him at least twice before, and will happily use him again!

Whiting Co, were very professional. Job started earlier than promised and took about a day and a half to complete. I like the fact that the foreman let me know if there were additional damage and discussed materials and pricing to repair. Which was very reasonable. My roof looks great and the price was 5 to 6k cheaper than other roofing companies quotes. Their Angieslist deal is legit no up sale or runaround. Great job by this company.

Steve and his assistant Matthew were prompt, polite, neat and cheerful. Steve provided a detailed quote ahead of time and finished all items in a timely fashion at the price quoted.

GG Door Inc. from scheduling to repair was awesome. They were able to get me on their schedule the next day. They texted a reminder before the appointment time and called when Jack the technician arrived. Due to COVID they reminded me of their mask and distance policy. Jack identified and repaired the senor light issue right away. He also took to time to check the system and let me know about purchasing items to open the gate manually if another failure occurred. I will definitely be using GG Door Inc. again.

He has addressed all problems professionally and at a reasonable cost. Over the last year he has completed 10 service calls. In the Hampton Roads area, His is the only repair service that I use. His service call charges are less than other service providers. And, he came out to work on my RV with a simple phone call. I fell secure, when I call for services, that my problems will be resolved with minimum hassle on my part and at a realistic cost on his.

Steve and helper arrived on time and completed the work as he’d previously quoted. He is extremely nice, knowledgeable and diligent in his work. We would definitely hire him again for any work we need.

Five years after installation, a piece of aluminum came off a corner of the roof and exposed some wood. I contacted the Whiting Company and sent pictures via email. Within a week, they sent a crew to perform the repair, no questions asked and at no cost. It's rare to come across a company that responds so promptly and professional, in fulfillment of a warranty request. This is my first Angie's List review.

I love the product! and Gavin's patience with my questions, decision-making, and concerns, but would really have liked more promptness of responding to all calls to the company as well as correcting subsequent problems. I think pricing could be more competitive without sacrificing any quality of product, service, or warranties. I'm still considering having installation of a retractable awning. My one regret that has no bearing on Awnings by Clark is that I did not have the fixed canopy extended out further.

Montgomery Shade and awning were wonderful. They made multiple visits and spent time with us to ensure we got the products we needed and the colors we wanted. They had to design and build a custom awning to go over our basement stairwell - results are great. Installation of both the fixed awning and the retractable over our deck was well-done. We couldn't be more pleased - highly recommended.

Mike and Renee were wonderful. I had an unusual job. Putting AstroTurf around my pond and repairing drainage ditch line. They worked very hard and got the job done quickly and professionally. I look forwards to other projects with them.

Dave and his team are wonderful. Dave renovated my basement a few years ago and I loved his work so much I hired him to repair my plaster wall and paint my house interior. I will hire them again in the future! The team is highly skilled, nice people, and they do great work, all according to our agreed upon timeline. All Eco is the way to go!

Repeat contract customers are sent a letter 2 times each year to select one of four weekly dates for installation and take down. The company stages installation and take down based on weather conditions, but I have always been offered my first choice of weekly preferred dates. After you select your preferred dates 2-3 months in advance and send them a check for the required amount, the company schedules your work. A courtesy phone call is made the day before service is performed. The service technicians arrive when scheduled and complete the process. Thomas Shade & Awning also provides cleaning, sealing and repair service of your awning, recommended every 3-5 years depending on usage conditions. The cost for cleaning and repair of my awning was $700, a good investment to sustain the life cycle of canvas. The last time my awning was cleaned and re-sewn in March 2011, several seams separated during rehang and the installers returned it to their local shop for further repair. It was returned and installed the next day. The only minor complaint I would offer is that several diffusers on a water fountain directly beneath the awning were broken during awning installation. I separately contracted a plumber to repair the fountain damage. Overall, this company has provided superior service.

the repairs to my home from the February 2010 snowstorm was performed in two phases. Tim Whiting managed both phases. The initial phase was replacement of siding and gutters on three sides of my home. It was completed 4/20/10 and reported on Angie's List as exceptional service. Phase Two was subcontracted to a different company. Initially, the awning was due to be installed around the end of May. However, the schedule was changed to the first of July. Finally the awning was installed on July 5, 2010. The other company arrived about 8:40 AM and they completed prior to 12:30 PM. The quality is excellent. Thanks to Whiting Co.for assisting us in making the selection of the replacement awning.
