In all the bedrooms - they changed the sheets and made a nice bed. Dusted everything that was in that room, cleaned every item and each item on night stands and replaced them nicely. Vacuumed, including all the baseboards, wiped all mirrors, chairs, and folded any blankets nicely on the beds. In all the bathrooms - they completely cleaned all tubs, sinks, toilets, showers, floors, mirrors and counters. They neatly cleaned and placed back any item on the counters (better than I had them). Nicely folded towels. In the kitchen - they made the microwave, wall ovens, stove top, and the refrigerator, including the inside, sparkle! They cleaned all counters, cabinet faces, and appliances that were out. They dusted everywhere and everything in this house, they vacuumed everywhere then they moped floors that were wood and tile. They wiped down all furniture and my bookcases and items in them. Cleaned the stairs and even folded the kleenex like a fan sticking out of the box. They cleaned all our different tables, including dining, family room, side tables. They made the glass shiny clean on our glass tables. They bagged up the garbage and took it out to our trash. Overall, very impressed with this company. They have done more than any other company I've had clean here. The team works well together. I will definitely use them again when I need help.

This was my first time using a Cleaning service. So, I had may have higher expectations than the service provided by such companies. Company personnel were friendly and professional. I was some what happy with the service provided. Although with a crew of three service cleaning professionals I thought things should have gone faster and more detailed. I used the service for four bi weekly cleanings. I felt the jobs performed were adequate to above average. I was not happy with the time constraints given to me by the company. They gave me a three hour window for the crew to show up. The crew showed up closer to end of the time frame given. As I scheduled on a Saturday, half my day was set aside to await the crew to show up. I know most people just leave a key for the crew to come in and clean, I was not comfortable in doing that. I think the company should hire more staff as they get backed up a lot it seems. Which maybe a good sign that the company is good with customers.

In the past 5-6 years we've tried at least 10 cleaning services and finally found a company that does a great job! We purchased an Angie's List offer for several hours of cleaning by Absolute Shine Cleaning Services for a great introductory price. After purchasing the deal, we scheduled a cleaning appointment at a mutually convenient time. The crew arrived promptly on time and did an excellent job of cleaning the bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and basement game-room. We've tried so many other cleaning crews in the past and were disappointed that our expectations for Absolute Shine were not high...we were pleasantly surprised and the professionalism, courtesy, and thoroughness of the crew that we started using the company on a regular basis. On our second cleaning, the crew was 2-3 hours late (some vehicle issues that causes a domino-effect to all cleaning scheduled that day). However, Absolute Shine notified me of the delays (fortunately I had no real plans that day) and kept providing me updates as to their crew's status. Upon arrival one of the crew members humbly apologized for the delay and immediately got to work; I was afraid the crew would still be cleaning when my family and I would be sitting down to supper. The next thing I knew was 2 more crews arrived to help clean my home and left well before we even started to prepare the meal. I don't expect perfection from anyone as mistakes, unforeseen problems, and normal issues/delays happen...however, the manner in which a company responds to the issues and recovers from the mishap is how I judge a company's attempt to treat me as a valued customer and make things right. Absolute Shine recovered well and they committed to being on time for the next cleaning. Their service is more expensive than I've paid in the past, but Absolute Shine is by far the best cleaning service we've had in several years and definitely worth price and by far the best value.

The company was supposed to assign a cleaning crew of from 2-3 people that would be a regular crew trained to meet our needs and know our property. We never saw the same people twice and it dwindled down to just one person coming. When they did find a helper, they were untrained and did know know what products to use on what surfaces and they did not know how to operate basic equipment like a vacuum cleaner. They were routinely late and they were unable to improve the service even after several client meetings. The people I delt with were always pleasant but the quality of the work never improved.

I have used Maid Bright for a couple years and have decided to stop using them. While they act very professionally in their sales pitch and the customer service isn't bad, the crews they send are a disaster. It is a different crew every time, and they have broken or ruined several items in my condo, including parts of bath tubs, toilets, paintings on the wall, and items on bookshelves. They don't inform you that they accidentally broke something; they simply let you discover it on your own. While Maid Bright is quick to remedy the problem by paying you for it, that isn't a sufficient remedy.

Initially I wrote an F review because the crew did not show up as expected. Unfortunately, the office staff spelled my email address incorrectly, so the confirmatory email with a later time did not arrive, We were away from the house when the maids came, but after unraveling the confusion, we returned to meet the maids. They worked for 3 solid hours without any break, moving from room to room as we had requested, and left a dust-free and very clean house.

The company was very responsive/communicative. Crew did a great job cleaning the place. Very impressed.

The crew arrived 1.5-2 hours late, which the company said was because their previous job had run late/ This reason for this became understandable as the very slow pace of the crew's work became evident. A company representative to whom I expressed concern about this tried to explain that the crew's progress was somehow dependent on the age of the dirt they encountered (I should note that the house was not terrifically dirty to begin with). The crew appeared to need direction fairly frequently, which was sometimes difficult because of the crew members' limited English proficiency. The quality of the work was quite decent, and the house looked better for it, though there were a few missed spots and some pieces of furniture and smaller items were not replaced in their original positions. The company's management authorized the crew to work past the 9 person hour limit to complete their work.

We originally started using HOC to clean our small condo via a Living Social voucher in November 2011. We used them once a month consistently for a while, then took a break and recently restarted using their service monthly. Given the size of our condo, the crew of 2-3 people were usually in and out within an hour and the result was a clean home. The problem we dealt with regularly and which ultimately caused us to cancel their service this week is scheduling and other communication with the company. This is always done through the owner, who seems to be managing a lot of efforts and as a result failed to follow through on appointments or other wishes we passed along. If the company hires an office manager or someone dedicated to scheduling and customer communications, I feel they would improve their performance greatly. Without this change, however, we cannot recommend them at this time.

Their service has gone well. I have used them for about 1 year. They clean the entire house including 6 bedrooms and 5 and a half baths. A crew of 4 comes out and completes the job in about 3 and a half hours. They bring their own cleaning supplies, but I prefer to let them use some of my own supplies. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. They are also very reliable and always show up on time. They do a thorough and high quality cleaning job. I really like heat they work on Saturdays.

They have done a really thorough job so far. The employees are professional and friendly. One or both of the owner, accompanies the cleaning crew each time and ensures all work is done completely and correctly. So far, we are very pleased!

First this company was difficult to reach. My time was confirmed via email for 2pm. I get a call from the owner at 10:30am the day of the appointment to inform me that her crew was in route for arrival at 11am. I told her I would not be there. After 11am she called yelling at me, telling me that I was treating the crew like dogs even though I had informed her I would not be there via phone and email.

I have been using the company for about 3 months. Everything has gone great with them so far. A crew of three come out and completed the service in about an hour. They bring their own cleaning supplies. The cleaners are friendly and professional. They are also efficient workers. They always come as scheduled.

We have been using Maid Bright initially for weekly and currently for monthly cleanings since 2009, and we have been extremely pleased with the company and its staff. From the initial appointment with Jay, who was very professional and thorough in explaining the company?s services, to our calls with Sanaz, who is similarly professional and helpful, to our interactions with their two-person crews, we have had only positive experiences. Maid Bright has been extremely accommodating of our sometimes erratic schedules and our request to be present at home during the cleanings. We would not hesitate to recommend this company and are thrilled with how clean the house is after every visit.

I particularly told the crew leader that since the carpet was brand new needed not to be cleaned, and the hardwood floor was refinished it did not need care either. I personally cleaned all the glass of the windows so they did not have to do that either. ALL three bathrooms were rebuilt, everything was new so they did not have to do anything with the bathrooms. The kitchen ceramic floor would be redone soon, therefore they did not have to do that either. The only items I really wanted them to clean were the refrigerator and the oven and cook top which they left to do at the last hour so I had to pay extra hour in order to have them clean thoroughly. However, they did not do the only two items I wanted them to clean and we ended up paying another cleaning company to redo these items. This job was done by our property manager whom we later handed the rental property to her. She told me that the job done by Skilled Maids was not acceptable. I wish the crew leader listened to me and concentrated their manpower on the two major items I wanted them to clean. Besides, a strange sour smell occurred after the basement floor was mopped by this group. We could never figure out what kind of cleansing material they used and the smell could not be removed later.
