The fact that we've had several projects done by the same company is a testament to their integrity. We live in a 100+ year old house that has needed a lot of love. We have not been disappointed once with Murray Masonry.

Murray Masonry is an excellent company and a pleasure to deal with. You get no surprises with them and no hidden fees. They come one time, the leave on time, their employees and polite and considerate. Brendan, the owner of the company, is very punctual and responds to your concerns. If there is a problem, his company will address it. Murray Masonry did a great job and we would definitely hire them again.

Very well! There was some additional loose stucco that had to be removed, which was done as expected. The new stucco was applied in a way that matched the texture of the original stucco perfectly. That is something that not all masons do well -- though they should. They returned 3 days later, when the stucco had dried, and painted the new area. The paint color also matched perfectly.

  • Primitivo Andia

AMAZING. At first I hired Mr. Andia's firm because we had some rainwater entering the house through the stucco (we believed). Mr. Andia identified the problem--he needed to replace caulking. He and his crew showed up promptly, worked very carefully (in cold weather), and most importantly the problem was 100% fixed. We next hired them for a basement finishing where they did blue board and plaster work. Again, they were clearly experts and approached the work as perfectionists. The walls are completely smooth. My uncle who is a retired builder from NY visited and said their results were excellent. Finally, Mr. Andia has 10 years of experience in tile installation and although his primary business is stucco, plaster, and painting, I was so pleased with his firm's diligence and customer service that I hired them for a large tile installation. I know enough about tile that I was comfortable doing this. Again, terrific work. All at reasonable prices.

Sam and his crew did great work, consulted with me throughout, and left my yard as they found it. I will definitely use them in the future and I highly recommend Sam's Masonry.

Sam's Masonry was awesome. Having been homeowners for decades, we've had plumbers, carpenters, roofers, and electricians do repairs for us. Overall, for performance, pricing, and personality, Sam comes at the top of the list. When we contacted him, Sam responded promptly and his bid was the most competitive. Every job has unexpected challenges. Sam was insightful in solving these and making sure the job was done right. I could not recommend him more highly.

  • Quinn's Construction LLC

We received three quotes for the work and Quinn came in at about the middle. I chose his company because of his price and his reputation. Overall I was satisfied with the work. The roof is beautiful, the carpentry is functional, and the stucco turned out good in the end. The original stucco work was not satisfactory, but Quinn eventually found a very good mason and made sure the job was done right, which we appreciate. In retrospect, I think the cost -- especially the cost of the roof -- was higher than necessary, but perhaps it always feels that way! Also, I think certain difficulties might have been avoided along the way if Tom had come out to inspect the work of his subs. It was up to us to determine whether a job was done right, which is always awkward.
