If you have to ask that question, you probably shouldn't be looking into getting a $2100 dollar lens. Get a kit lens. 24-105 or 24-70

At 16mm there is no fisheye, I sometimes shoot group photos at 16mm. But at 35mm it’s a wide angle shot which has the fish eye look. This lens is an amazing lens with lots of versatility.

This F2.8 lense is better. Lower fstop and good in low light. No distortion.

Hello. Lenses with f/2.8 let in more light compared to an f/4 lens so shutter speeds can be set faster as well as ISO values set lower for the same exposure. Also, the f/2.8 lens will have more bokeh when shot at the widest aperture compared to f/4.

Hello,

Yes, this is a great lens for close up wide photos. Keep in mind the effect you will get shooting a wide angle lens close to your subject. If that is a look for feel your going for this lens is great.
