Real Plumber was prompt, professional and got the job done efficiently. Kevin responded to the call and he was task oriented and worked efficiently. We frequently use RP for our plumbing needs and are pleased with their service. I do NOT like that RP charges a stand alone $89 "plumbing service call" fee that does NOT go toward the costs of the work performed. This fee is NOT customer friendly.

Still in progress. They are very punctual and work is progressing rather rapidly. This is the current job by Real Plumbers. We had had them for everything from replacing a kitchen faucet to installing a new furnace to installing a bathroom and powder room. I would recommend them highly.

The Plumber replaced the leaking faucet with a brand new one and installed new brass connectors to the water supply line. After he left, we noticed that the connector to the drain pipe started leaking. He came back the next day to fix the problem. We were very satisfied with the job. Thanks to Tony and Real Plumber.

Not well. Two people came and looked at the space and immediately said it would cost $500 to install. Seeing my incredulous look, they said it could be done for $450. I said that I'd like them to measure the space to give us an idea about what would fit. Surprisingly they did not have a measuring tape and said they could go back to their truck to get it. Then they wanted us to make the payment for the visit which I was told would be charge when I made the appointment for the visit. They got the payment and were leaving when I reminded them that they could measure the space. So one of them came back with the tape and measured the distance from the floor to the top of the door and said it was 80" and he measured again to say that it was 78". By this point I had enough of their incompetence, and insincere and lackadaisical attitude and bid him goodbye. The next day I called the business to express my disappointment with the work provided. The person there said he could send someone to come back to do the measurements. Of course, I didn't want that and did say they could think about refunding the $89 payment for the 10 minutes or so they spent with us. He said that the work was performed and so could not be refunded. Refund or not, the company, in my view, failed in terms of professionalism and competence.

We requested a service call via RPs website. On Sunday. On Monday morning I received a call from Corey. He was professional, introduced himself & scheduled the service call with my husband. The arrival time was adjusted for my husband's availability & scheduled at 3 pm. The technician Kevin arrived on time and communicated his ETA to my husband. He was pleasant & professional and went right to work, diagnosed the problems and made the repairs & added coolant. The charge for the work was within the range that we expected. We are regular customers of RPs and they have always stood behind their work. The

Not well. Every light was left on throughout the house. The technician took off every existing smoke detector for some unknown reason, then plugged in a new one on an outlet. The new detector had no battery. I called Real Plumber after two days of beeping/chirping. Offered to come out and fix it and put other detectors on again, but not worth the time to stay home to meet them. Responsive and tried to be helpful, but situation was unnecessary to start with.

The yearly check of my ac took all of about 13 minutes. I had to cancel appointment I had made because they could not keep a appointment in a two hour window. All it would have taken is a call but at 11 I had no confidence when the tech would actually show up.

Purchased a maintenance contract last fall first visit was on time and the service was preformed well. Made arrangements for summer AC check called made apportionment 9 to 11 was the arrival time at 10. I called was told all is well I am the next customer and the tech is on the way At 11 I called and was told tech was on the way when i asked when I was transferred to someone else who did not seem to know why I was on the phone and I had to explain all over again. I was told again the tech was on the way when i asked when I was told he was just finishing up a call and on his way to me. I was told that a hour ago I explained and received no response. I don't. I see why this company is no longer listed in the searches for this site.

As the customer had stated above he had a scheduled appointment with us for a 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM time frame. The customer gave us a call around 10:00 AM and spoke with one of our Customer Service Representatives (CSR) who explained to the customer that our HVAC technician is on another service call that was scheduled before this appointment but the customer was the next call on the list and that the technician will be on his way shortly. After that call our technician ran into a problem at his first call which ended up delaying him. This unfortunately happens in the service business from time to time. As a manager I was dealing with several situations during that time so I was unaware of the earlier call between this customer and my CSR and that this customer was waiting on our technician to arrive. I was personally dealing with the other issues that were going on at that time. I will admit that we should had contacted this customer immediately to notify him that we would be running late on making his call and give him the option to reschedule or allow us to show us later. I will [Member Information Removed] the blame for not contacting the customer at that time squarely on my shoulders as a manager. At 11:05 AM I receive the call from my CSR that the customer is on the phone wanting to speak to me. With several things going on at that time I did not wait to hear from my CSR what was going on, I immediately picked up the phone to speak with the customer to see what I could do to help him. As I was speaking to him, he was noticeably very upset because our technician was running late. I tried to reassure him that the technician was on his was and told him where the technician was coming from. I also gave him the option to reschedule if waiting for our technician would cause even more of an inconvenience. He was very upset and was even more unhappy that he felt that I did not understand why that he was upset. Which I did but at that moment all I can do as a service provider is figure out the best solution to try and solve this problem. The customer decided to go ahead and wait for out technician who arrived around 40 minutes later. His A/C check did not take long and his system was working fine. After the appointment this customer sent us a long and disparaging email which our management staff and the owner of the company discussed and agreed that we should had handled this appointment in a better way. So we had decided to offer this customer an apology and 6 more months of our Service Partner Plan Membership which is valued at $124.50 and offers the customer 15% off of all future calls completely free of charge. When I called the customer and apologized and gave him this offer, he declined and stated that what we had done was extremely terrible and that he could never use us again. I understand that this customer no longer wants to do business with us and that is fine and maybe what is mutually best for the customer and for us. However we should had been more proactive with keeping this customer up to date on the technician progress and we should had given him a call the moment that we knew that it would be unlikely that he would make this call on time. We at Real Plumbers do accept full responsibility for that and will work harder in the future to be more responsive in these types of situations. We will be more sensitive to the customer's time and we will interact better with the customer to help ensure that situations like this one gets handled better in the future. Thank you for your time. We have had Real Plumbers do a variety of work for us over the years. Most recently, they replaced all of the supply lines on our toilets and replaced the waste drain in our tub (cutting out the old galvanized pipe and replaced it with PVC) and rerouted the drain to prevent future clogs.

I thought the cost was expensive, which is is why I'm considering maybe not using them. They were very good and know their job, but I had a dishwasher put in and it was, I though, expensive. There was a leak and there was some water damage to one of the cabinets and he had to take the cabinet out. It wasn't just a simple installation of a dishwasher. I just had one put in a condo we own and it was $139. Before I would use them again I would get a quote first. I don't like to give people bad grades, but that just seemed so expensive to me. I haven't researched it yet.

He was here two minutes and said all I had to do was flush the toilet. They charged me $90, I called management and complained. I think that service call shouldn't have been that much, they aren't even a mile away from my home. He apologized and said I am sorry but that's our standard price. I used a company one time for a sub pump issue, turned out I only needed a battery and they didn't charge me!

I had this company clean three drains a month ago. I'm still having problems with one drain. Contacted the company and the gentleman I spoke to was incredibly rude saying, "I don't know what you put in the drain but that service in not under a warranty." I never asked was it under a warranty nor was I asking for anything to be given to me for free. I only wanted them to come back out to fix it. I scheduled an appointment against my better judgement for the next day. I was given a 10-2 window. Close to 2:00 I called and the same gentleman gets on the phone and in an extremely defensive tone starts telling me it wil be at least 400.00 if he has to do anything again. I just declined. Why he didn't tell me he was going to charge this outrageous amount I wouldn't have agreed for him to come back. What a horrible way to treat a customer. There are hundreds of other plumbing companies out there and next time I will make sure I contact someone else.

Very responsive. Got a call back the same day I asked for an appointment (even though a saturday) and scheduled it for the following monday (yay!). And arrived promptly on monday, so, so far, great! But after that even though the person seemed pleasant, patient, and smiling, I could not shake the feeling that I was being conned a bit. First, he did not do all the steps that were involved in that promotional deal (they were listed on my coupon). He did some of the missed steps as I reminded him, but left out others (like inspecting the exterior water pipes and hosebibs) which I didn't think of reminding him about. He also kept saying he wouldn't repair anything because if it broke, he wouldn't be responsible...so he installed a "new" faucet and valve, which are the only ones I agreed to. However, when it came to the bath faucet drip, he did attempt to fix it and promptly broke it and said he needed to install a new part. This is when I got suspicious because he first quoted $1500-$1800. I told him I could probably get a whole new bathtub/shower installed for a little more than that (thanks to internet info). So he called in. Somehow, it got reduced to about $890 or so. Hmmm, that's a big reduction--are they doing me a favor or playing a game? He also said they would need to do it that day otherwise I would need to pay for another "visit" on top. It would cost that much because it would require him to call another person to help him and the work would take 4-6 hours... I'm glad I said no (and that I would treat this as my first estimate) and called another company. Well, not only was the whole shower installed (including a new shower-head rather than just that one part) but it was installed by just one person and in less than 3 hours for $550...So either my suspicions were correct and I was being conned or these people didn't really know what they were doing. Either way, I would not hire them again.

I bought the promotional comprehensive check all pipes, etc. deal. So the work was to check all plumbing + flush water heater and then in addition, there were two other incidental installations (laundry faucet and toilet valve) and an attempt to repair a drip in the bathtub.

first, they told me if the tub was cracked or broken in the process of them repairing the leak, we would be responsible for replacing. That alone was a joke! Then they tore out the bathroom walls to repair the leak and said they don't repair or replace the wall they just tore out. The toilet they installed has a very foul odor every since it was installed. The cost to repair their mess was @$2000!!!!

On September 19, 2016 a plumber from Real plumber came to my house to repair a leak and to look at 3 toilets (units). There was a leak on the 2nd fl bathroom. The plumber said, “he could tear up the ceiling or put a ring around the unit.” I agreed to the ring as opposed to tearing up the floor. After placing the ring, I informed the plumber that my unit was not flushing properly. He sneaked the unit. Then he said, “that I needed a new unit” after he charged me 358.00 for placing a ring around the unit and $59 for coming to my house. I never received a receipt for the work that was done. I called the company on September 27 because my unit had stop working. The gentlemen (Chris) made an appointment for me the next day, between 9-11 am. At 11:15 am no one had arrived, I called the company. I was informed that the person that worked on my unit was off that day; and that he did not have me down for an appointment. I informed the man that I was schedule for an appointment. The gentleman sent someone to my house around 1:15 pm. The plumber said, “I needed a new unit.” He wanted to charge me an additional fee for coming out $59. I refuse to pay and he left with details notes regarding the service call. I am unable to use the unit at all.
