I originally contacted J&F to have them repair my brick wall. I expanded the project to build a flagstone patio and to repair and reroof my garden shed. They did an outstanding job in completing all 3 projects quickly and with no surprises. It was a pleasure hiring Mr. Estevez to remove a small partition wall separating our dining room from our living room. He did a great job with the removal, patching the hole on the adjoining wall, and painting over it. He was even gracious enough to paint the rest of the wall just to make sure everything matches. If you're looking for an all-around Handyman who is honest, affordable, and does excellent work, look no further than Mr. Estevez.

JP upgraded the concrete driveway for my house, about 700sqft. From estimate to job completion, Paulo and his crew show very professional performance. Under such difficult pandemic situation, they came to do the work only 2 weeks after quotation done, which is 4-week ahead of original schedule. And the job was quickly and nicely done. They arrived in the morning 730, and the job was finished 1530. The new driveway looks fabulous . Highly recommend.

Hands-down best experience Iâ ve had with a contractor. I've used D&A twice now â the first time to repair the concrete steps leading up to my front door, the second time to install a backyard patio. For the first project, D&A was the only company willing to come out for a small job (Iâ d called like ten beforehand whoâ d all said no). I'd had old, rusty railings removed and new ones installed, there were holes and cracks in the concrete where the old rails had come loose, and the steps were badly rust-stained. D&A repaired them, power-washed them, scraped away all the hardened piles of concrete patcher the previous owner had left behind, and left them looking brand-new. I had them back nine months later to install my patio and itâ s gorgeous. We talked through all the options within my budget, and in the end I opted for a rectangular concrete patio with pea gravel finish, curved brick border, and brick diamond center. D&A also repaired and power-washed the concrete stoop and brick steps that lead from my back door down to my new patio so that they look new too. AND, because they finished ahead of schedule, they even installed a little wooden door with a latch for me, to cover the opening to my stoop (so that now I can store my lawnmower and other tools underneath the stoop, out of sight)! I couldnâ t be happier with the final result both times â definitely exceeded expectations, and for a very fair price.

Exceptional company to work with. Estimate was reasonable, no surprises, did what they promised. Very friendly team. We had a good deal of stone that needed to be removed on our front stoop, reset, new sand put down, and sealed. Looks great now.
We would highly recommend Alfa and, they donâ t just chase the big jobs. They actually are interested in the smaller to mid sized jobs. Local company building a great reputation.

I hired Luis and his crew for major foundational work. He wasn't the cheapest, but he was the most honest - helping me understand what was most important. He absolutely didn't need the work - they are swamped - but he let me know what I needed to hire someone even if it wasn't his crew. I am SO SO glad I waited until they were available - they were professional, they offered incredibly good advice, they cleaned up every day and didn't mind at all when I peppered their workers with questions about what they do (because I'm honestly curious). I hired Mark Meredith to replace my concrete walkway and stoop with stamped concrete. Carl was extremely helpful and friendly in discussing options and walking my wife and I through the process.
The workers arrived early and finished the job in a lot less time than they estimated, which was really great. Their work was excellent and we love the new walkway and front steps.

They removed a failing front porch/stoop made of pavers, and replaced it with a brick and slate porch/stoop supported by reinforced concrete footers and slab. They started and finished on time, did excellent masonry, and cleaned up thoroughly. We are very pleased.

I had them tear down an old deck and build a new screened-in deck. They were professional and friendly at every step. They designed a great deck for me and were very flexible when I changed my mind at the last minute. They were able to schedule most of the work for when I was on vacation so my dog wasn't disturbed by construction noise. The work was done on time, looks great, and is perfect for my needs.
