Installation of 3 Trane heat pumps 2 yrs ago (and 1 heat pump a year earlier) was completed without apparent difficulty. Total cost of units was $32,000 plus. Within 6 months one of the heat pump thermostats became erratic. Called to have this fixed but it took 3 visits for them to figure out that resetting a defective thermostat was not adequate. Shortly after that a different heat pump began pumping out very hot air while set on cooling. Called to have this fixed and service man was unable to find anything wrong so did nothing. Unit was reset and returned to working normally. A couple of weeks later it happened again so this time I took photos of the thermostat showing the bedroom at 84 degrees with setting on cooling. So called them again. They came out again and this time they thought they found a defective part in the outside compressor unit. They had to check something and said they would get back to me. However, I had to wait two weeks for them to get around to actually replacing the part. Indeed, they even tried to charge me for them coming out to "diagnose" the problem despite all the heat pumps being in their initial installation 2 yr full warranty (labor and parts). Prior to purchasing all the units I negotiated the price including 10-12 yr extended warranties which would cover labor after the first two years. We agreed as documented by emails. After the expiration of the initial 2 yrs I was contacted by the company to purchase the extended warranties BUT was told they were not going to honor their previous stated price. Since I seemed to have a good relationship with the owner, I send me copies of our prior correspondence on March 15, 2021 requesting the agreed price but got no response. I then re-emailed on April 12th. Still no response. If the company will not honor the word of its own president, it is not a company I wish to have anything to do with. This was a very poor decision to stiff a good customer.

Veteran owned & operated. Over the last twenty years of working in the air conditioning business, I found myself enjoying the time I was able to spend with the seniors of our community, especially the ones that served our country in foreign wars. The sacrifices and the stories would keep me in their homes long after I completed the service of the air conditioning units, and I found myself discounting the services I provided them with and going the extra mile, as though I owed it to them.
Recent Review:
They damaged my kitchen wall refusing to fix it and failed to finish the trim on the house. I Left texts, emails to project manager, which, went unanswered. it took them about a month to finish the trim and then they would not fix the kitchen wall. They put a 3 x 2 foot piece of plywood in the middle of a 4 x 6 foot wall and hug the unit. They never trimmed the wall out or cut a piece the size of the wall so it was property framed in.
