Outdoor Design Build LLCDavid's team designed and built an exceptionally nice outdoor living space, completely transforming our backyard. Their deep experience in both softscapes and hardscapes was evident through every step of the project. David was always making insightful recommendations about the design and materials as well as important guidance on maintenance. Perhaps most importantly, the team professionally handled our indecision around the schedule. We initially wanted to do the project in phases but then changed our mind as phase 1 wrapped up. We are very thankful that they squeezed us in before the winter and the ensuing pandemic lockdown. We've already spent countless hours enjoying the space. During the initial inspection/estimate, he was upfront and stated their expected start date would be a couple of months out. He was thorough in advising the various aspects of what I was interested in having done and talking through my options. We were in contact 3-4 weeks out from the expected time frame and he followed up the week of the work to confirm the days his crew would be working. The work was excellent and when I had a concern about one item, his crew came back out to make sure I was satisfied with the final product. Outdoor Design Build LLCWe engaged Outdoor Design Build to complete an outdoor renovation to our 100 year old home including a new 2 car architecturally correct garage, all new landscaping, all new hardscapes (multiple patios, stone steps, fire pit and seat wall), multiple retaining walls, stone work, driveways and significant regrading throughout the property. David was fantastic to work with throughout the design and estimating process. Given the size and scope of our project David was very reasonably priced. Once the project kicked off, his team was a pleasure to work with, everyone was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. All of his crew have been with David for many years and they take pride in their work, which was a key reason for selecting them. I am a very meticulous individual and enjoy getting into the details of projects, while some contractors find hands-on homeowners an annoyance, David and his crew embraced it and brought me into every decision so that we minimized issues and rework. David and his crew were open to new ideas, incorporated slight design tweaks on the fly, and worked with me to address items that we had mutually put off until we could "field verify". They also fixed issues promptly and worked through the final punch list without complaint. David and his crew did a great job communicating both on a daily basis and overall and were always easy to get hold of. In the end, I got exactly what I wanted! We couldn't be more thrilled with the final outcome of the project and we take every opportunity to show it off. Outdoor Design Build LLCThree years ago Dave and the crew built me a beautiful outdoor living space. Fast forward about two and a half years, the inside fire brick was starting to break away. It took a little time( due to ODB being so busy) but Mick and the guys came out and fixed my fire block with no questions asked and no cost. These guys are as professional as the come and they back their work!!!! It was a great experience working with ODB and I would highly recommend them to anyone who desires an amazing outdoor living space. We worked with David and used his entire process which included meeting and using his landscape architect (Gail Fraizer) and his Design Architect (Mike Studer), who's designs were important to the project. Brian and his team @ Bridgestone Masonry were fantastic to work with! He was able to turn around a quote quickly and then work with us on finding the best strategy to get the job done. With an older Tudor style home, our chimneys were not easily accessible; however, Brian went through various options with us and helped us pick the best one. In the end, they fit us into their schedule quickly and then took specific care to our property, updated us along the way, and got the job done on time & on budget. I contacted them in the spring. They came out, said they needed a drone to look at the chimney, but it was broken. I contacted them several times and the drone was never fixed and no one ever called to finish the inspection.

I purchased a 160 year old home 2.5 years ago. It has 3 fireplaces. Mid Valley just repaired the one in my living room and they did a fantastic job. The hearth needed to be replaced and they were able to save the old brick to use on the top so that it still looks original to the fireplace. They also lined the chimney with a new stainless steel flue and repaired the fire box. I put a fire in it on Saturday night and it was wonderful. I will definitely be hiring these guys to repair my other fireplace, as well as for general masonry work. I highly recommend their services.
