Indianapolis Carport Building

We've worked with Rob Rollins before and didn't hesitate to call him again when we were thinking about adding a carport to the front of our house. We had an idea of what we wanted it to look like but didn't know where to begin. Rob had great ideas and even went the extra mile to figure out the logistics of obtaining a building permit- which I had no idea where to go or what to do. He ended up finding out that we would have a 50/50 chance of getting the permit because the city has an easement on our property up to where we wanted to build it. While we were deciding what we wanted to do, Rob was easy to contact and available for questions along the way. He drew a detailed sketch of what the carport would look like and fielded countless questions from my husband and I over the details. We ended up deciding not to take the chance of possibly not getting the permit and decided not to move forward with the project. We WILL use Rob again on our next home improvement project!

I had seen these carports along the road and checked into one. They are sturdy and the price is fair.

We visited their office in Muncie. Mitch was very knowledgeable and helpful. Carport was installed sooner than expected and looks great. Very happy.

My estimate from the owner, Jeff, was about 70% of the cost of another bid from a well known Indianapolis contractor/remodeler. The garage took over two months to build due to numerous rain/weather delays this year. Every sub contractor that Jeff brought on to the job were very professional and I feel trustworthy as well as skilled. They did not cut any corners on quality. All of the exposed wood around the eaves and garage door was vinyl wrapped, something I was not sure was going to be handled. I especially enjoyed a great communication link with Jeff via phone, email and text. He was very good about telling me what was going to happen next or give me a heads up if something had to be delayed.Everything about this job: planning, demolition, concrete, framing, the roof material, garage door and the electronics and lighting either met or exceeded my expectations.

Levi was very responsive, polite, and professional. The shed/storage building looks great. I highly recommend Levi.

The build was excellent from start to finish. Friendly, knowledgeable construction manager, timely work and all my questions were answered. Would highly recommend!

Nicely trimmed construction did an excellent job, overall. They stayed in constant communication throughout a lengthy permitting process. The quality of work was excellent. It took a little longer than expected, but I think that is the nature of the business when contending with weather, etc.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! I GOT ED'S INFO OFF A FLYER AT MENARDS. I FIGURED HE WOULD BE RELIABLE. THEY HAVE SINCE REMOVED HIS INFO. HE CAME OVER RIGHT AWAY AND DREW UP AN ESTIMATE FOR $15,351.00. HE WANTED HALF DOWN. AGAINST MY BETTER JUDGEMENT I GAVE IT TO HIM. I AM ONE THAT BELIEVES A REPUTABLE COMPANY DOESN'T NEED MONEY DOWN AND WOULD COLLECT WHEN THE JOB IS DONE, I GAVE IT TO HIM ANYWAY. I ASKED ABOUT PERMITS AND HA SAID "AS LONG AS IT WAS UNDER 15' TALL AND HAD A WOOD FLOOR A PERMIT WASN'T NEEDED". OK WHAT DO I KNOW? A WEEK WENT BY WITHOUT A WORD. I CALLED AND CALLED ALWAYS GETTING HIS VOICEMAIL WHICH WAS USUALLY FULL. HOW DO YOU RUN A BUSINESS WITH YOUR VOICEMAIL ALWAYS FULL?? I EMAILED HIM, TEXT HIM AND FINALLY GOT AN ANSWER FROM HIM STATING HE HAS BEEN HAVING TROUBLES WITH BEING OUT OF PHONE RANGE, C'MON REALLY?? IT'S 2020 NOT 1990. IF YOUR PHONE HAS NO SERVICE IT GOES RIGHT TO VOICEMAIL, HIS DIDN'T, JUST RANG AND A FULL VOICEMAIL. FINALLY GOT SOMETHING GOING. THEY CAME AND LAID OUT 19 6X6X12' PIECES OF TREATED LUMBER AND 2 LOADS OF GRAVEL. WE DID CHANGE A COUPLE THINGS AROUND FOR THE JOB TO STRENGTHEN THE FLOOR BUT NOTHING MAJOR. AFTER THAT I HAD NOTHING BUT NO SHOWS AND NO CALLS!! EVERY TIME HE PROMISED ME HE WOULD BE THERE HE NEVER SHOWED UP AND WORST OF ALL NEVER BOTHERED TO CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW HE WASN'T COMING. THERE I WENT AGAIN CHASING HIM DOWN TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF HIM AGAIN AND LISTENING TO HIS B.S. THE LAST STRAW WAS THE DAY BEFORE MOTHERS DAY 3 WEEKS AFTER THE START AND ME LOSING MY COOL WITH ALL THE NO SHOWS AND NO CALLS. HE TELLS ME HE WILL BE THERE MOTHERS DAY WEATHER PERMITTING OR MONDAY MORNING FIRST THING IF RAINED OUT. WELL MOTHERS DAY WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY EXCEPT FOR A SPOTTY SHOWER AROUND 1:00 P.M. SO I'LL BET YOU CAN GUESS WHAT HAPPENED. NO SHOW ON MOTHERS DAY AND NO SHOW ON MONDAY. OH YA, AND NO PHONE CALLS!!!!! THAT WAS IT FOR ME, I'M THINKING WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO. I AM AN ANGIE'S LIST MEMBER AND HAVE BEEN FOR MANY YEARS AND RECEIVE THEIR SUPER SERVICE AWARD EVERY YEAR. MY COMPANY, TURNER APPLIANCE, WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS IF I DARED TRYING TO RUN IT THIS WAY. SO THERE I GO TRYING TO CHASE HIM DOWN AGAIN AND I AM BESIDE MYSELF AT THIS POINT. LEFT HIM SOME HOT HEADED MESSAGES WHEN AGAIN I COULD NOT GET A HOLD OF HIM. I HAD MY DELIVERY TEAM PICK UP THE TIMBERS HE LAID DOWN, STACK THEM AND TOLD HIM TO COME AND GET THE WOOD AND THAT I WAS DONE WITH HIS RIDICULOUSNESS. I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK AND OF COURSE THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. I AM SURE IT WAS USED FOR ANOTHER JOB. SO NOW MY LAWYER IS FILING ON MY BEHALF AND WE WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS. HE PULLED HIS COMPANY INFORMATION UP AS WELL AS PERSONAL INFO AND !!!!!WOW!!!!! HOW DID I GET MYSELF INTO THIS! IN THE MEANTIME I HIRED ANOTHER COMPANY, "PERFORMANCE PLUS RESTORATION". WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE. THEY DID EVERYTHING TO THE "T" THAT WAS PROMISED. I HAD PHONE CALLS EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. THEY SAID THEY WOULD START THE JOB THE FRIDAY BEFORE MEMORIAL DAY, WORK SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND FINISH MONDAY. AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED! I HAVE A BIG BEAUTIFUL BUILDING DONE EXACTLY AS PROMISED. I TOLD ED THAT WE HAD JUST PURCHASED AN OLD FARM HOUSE AND WOULD NEED TWO GARAGES AND A LARGE BARN BUILT WHEN HE WAS DONE WITH THE FIRST ONE. I'M SURE YOU CAN GUESS THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN. I AM HAVING TIM WITH PERFORMANCE PLUS DO THE WORK. IF ED WOULD HAVE COMMUNICATED WITH ME VIA PHONE CALLS TO LET ME KNOW HE WASN'T SHOWING UP IT WOULD NOT HAVE COME TO THIS. YOU HAVE TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. YOU CAN'T TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS YOU ARE GOING TO SHOW UP AND THEN NOT SHOW AND NO PHONE CALLS! IF YOU HIRE THIS GUY DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY UP FRONT MONEY!! I HOPE I CAN SAVE SOMEONE FROM THE HEADACHES I GOT FROM ED. GOD BLESS!

We are extremely happy with the home built for us by Robin Campbell Builders. Robin and Chad were quick to communicate and to address any issues or concerns. We were impressed by the professionalism and care taken by the subcontractors and were thrilled to see progress happen almost every single day on our home. Even the neighbors were impressed by how consistently the work moved along, even during the COVID shutdown. We have enthusiastically recommended Robin and Chad to our neighbors and have contracted with them on a new commercial project.

He was very timely and an excellent communicator. He was very good at answering all of my questions and I would recommend him to others.
