    Our Vimeo Premium (which we got with a substantial discount coupon last year) is coming up for renewal at full price (€840/year) and our tiny two-person not-for-profit (Small Technology Foundation) can’t afford to renew it and, plus, I really want to explore small video (1/2)

    Whose truth is it anyway? The English Wikipedia page on Janissary calls it “child slavery” (which it was): The Turkish page states that Christian children were “taken and raised” with no mention of slavery at all:

    Today on Twitter Can’t Count: Twitter ended up following two more people for me. One of whom had no followers while I was apparently following them. These are the systems folks trust to filter reality for them, eh?
