Current Governing Committee

Government of Canada is working to create greater transparency and accountability, increase citizen engagement, and drive innovation and economic opportunities through open data.

Data.gov is managed and hosted by the U.S. General Services Administration, is powered by two open source applications, CKAN and WordPress, and it is developed publicly on GitHub.

data.gov.au is managed by the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. It provides an easy way to find, access and reuse public datasets from Government.
