    Hi, I’ve installed the Site Kit plugin from the WordPress Plugin repository, I have the latest version of WP, PHP7.3 and the plugin and when i click on Sign in with Google, I get the following error:

    An error occurred: We are unable to send credentials to your WordPress site. This is likely due to your hosting provider blocking incoming REST API requests. Please check with them if that is the case.

    I’ve spoken to my hosting and have had no joy with this, they tried alot of stuffs ,but they said nothing is wrong on their end, I should contact the plugin support

    My hosting server is Interserver

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    @saintmalik thanks again for providing this information. We’re still researching this particular host on our side, but I am curious if you had a chance to update to the most recent version, 1.0.4?

    Unable to authenticate Site Kit. Check your client configuration is in the correct JSON format.

    thanks for the update @saintmalik ! Could you try the set up process in an incognito browser? This is to ensure extensions like Adblockers aren’t interfering.

    Please let me know if you’re able to complete process. If the error persists, could you check if there are any browser console errors and pass them along? Thanks again!

    @saintmalik Just chasing up with regards the problems you had been encountering with Site Kit. We have made some significant updates to the plugin as of version 1.1.2, which addresses the issue you were encountering.
