Mike's Complete LandscapingMike's Landscaping has done an incredible job. They replaced all of the 4x4 posts, properly seating them in the ground to the right depth having to break through stone on many of them. They also re-located our Mexican Petunia into a raised bed which was built beautifully. Lastly, and most importantly, our lawn needed to be re-graded to ensure proper drainage. Luckily it rained recently so we could verify how it looks and now all of the rain is away from the house. They added soil and sod in the regrading portion. They did a great job! Mike's Complete LandscapingExtremely well! I had a really hard time finding someone who'd give me a reasonable quote for removing the massive boulders in my front and back yards. Mike not only was reasonable, he showed up the next day with his crew to do the work! On a Saturday even! His crew pounded those awful rocks all day long and I was so impressed with his work ethic that I hired him to relandscape my front flowerbeds. He put in Nandina and Liriope in the more modern, less curvy, chopblock-y look that I was hoping for. Did a great job and even hauled off my own trash which our private refuse service refused to take that day! They mulched my struggling oak tree in the front and made sure that my sprinklers were well protected as they took out the Sago palm and crape myrtle that sadly had to go.- Amy K.

SNL Total LandscapesWent well! I will hire them again. After they pulled the damaged plants out, they advised me on new plants that would work best. Their choices were better than the plants that went in the first time. They also patched up my lawn with new sod as needed and did some masonry work around my fire pit and added rocks instead of mulch. They were able to squeeze me in with another job in my area. I was grateful for that because Spring was coming and everyone was extremely busy. These guys practically work around the job to all the work done as promised.- Gabriele H.

Down to Earth Landscaping and Lawn CareThe job was outstanding. From our first phone call to set a meeting for an estimate,to completion of the job in one day, my yard is 1500 sq. ft., they were true professionals. Jim asked what I wanted,gave me his expert opinion, and delivered in spades. Of course, Jim was punctual and courteous, but went well beyond that. It turns out some harmful insects were discovered while the job was in process. Jim showed me what they looked like and what they were. He said he would take of the problem at no additional cost! The estimate he gave was the exact amount I paid, and it was completely reasonable and satisfactory. Also, when the crew finished, my property was totally clean and perfect. This was my first house and my first experience working with a contractor for a project and I couldn't be happier. While this aspect may seem insignificant to some, his follow through really impressed me and put my anxieties of committing to this project at ease. I really wanted to write a glowing review. I was honestly planning on it, because Albert was so nice to me. His price was reasonable, and the installation and planting was great, but service after the sale and warranty work is non-existent. The crew was very professional, and then Albert explained how my system worked and then walked me through the operation on 6/30 when the job was completed. However, he promised to come back with root stimulator early last week for my Italian cypress trees and never showed and never called. Then, the system had an issue and it was spraying water, so I had to shut it off. He promised to be here 7/16 to fix it, and again, no-call/no show. He then promised to be here on 7/18, and yet again, no-call/no show. That makes three no-call/no-shows in about a week, and my plants are suffering. Albert told me that his dad had a stroke right after the job was finished, but I fail to see where that would affect Albert's ability to text or call when he had arranged it with me. He could have sent his very competent crew, but didn't bother. Another reviewer said Albert never bothered to show up, and the response was "wrong person". I seriously doubt that, because Albert has proven to me to be completely unreliable and flaky. I am disabled, and have trouble standing or walking, yet I had to stand for 2 hours yesterday (7/18) watering plants in the broken zone after he flaked on me FOR THE THIRD TIME. I've already had 3 new plants die, and am now having to look for someone to fix the system that is still supposedly under warranty. You'd think for $3600, Albert would have at least texted to tell me he couldn't make it.

Jake and Chris did a fantastic job! They exceeded my expectations. Very knowledgeable about the sod installation, watering, and care afterwards. Jake was quick to come to my house and give me a quote. He followed up with an email for the EXACT job, and line itemed the work to be done. He keep me in the loop and communicated very well with timeline and what to expect. I felt very confident in them. Definitely will hire them again for work.
