Support » Everything else WordPress » how to create a list of plugins

    About a month ago I found something that generated a simple list of my plugins – first, active plugins, then inactive plugins:

    `– WordPress Active Plugins

    Akismet Anti-Spam: 4.1.9
    All-in-One WP Migration: 7.40
    Astero WordPress Weather Plugin: 2.0.0
    BackupGuard Pro: 1.6.2`

    At my age, memory is a problem. Try as I might, I have no idea how I did this trick. The plugin “Plugin List” is not what I used as it isn’t a plugin on my site.

    Does anyone have a clue about what to use to generate such a list?

    Thank you,

    Tod

    There are a number of health check and security plugins that might give you such a list. You asked how to get one; Site Health is an answer.

    @sterndata Thank you, Steve.

    I spent several hours poring through page after page; downloading, installing, running, many different plugins.

    While chatting with a friend, I mentioned this and they recommended that I take another look at “Plugin List” as there are a number of variables that can now be used.

    While Plugin List isn’t what I used last month, it did produce the desired results with this shortcode:

    <ul>[plugins_list show_inactive=true format="{{Title}} - {{Version}} </br>"]</ul>

    Cheers,

    Tod
