NSCS logoThe Navy Supply Corps School (NSCS), located at Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island, offers a range of career-long training for the Supply Corps community.
 
Newly commissioned Supply Corps officers from the U.S. Naval Academy, Officer Candidate School and Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps, as well as limited duty officers or officers who have been re-designated into the community, attend initial training to prepare them to serve in the fleet in entry-level positions. NSCS also provides instruction in various supply-centric areas, such as joint aviation supply material maintenance management; hazardous material transportation; refresher training; leadership and department head; expeditionary logistics; and international partner courses.
 
  • Attract and train the finest instructors and staff who, together, create a world class continuum of training.
  • Ensure all Supply Corps officer graduates are prepared to provide global logistics support to the Navy and joint warfighter.
  • Ensure the curriculum is driven by fleet requirements and feedback.
  • Leverage to the fullest extent possible training opportunities with the Naval War College, Surface Warfare Officers School, Naval Leadership and Ethics Center, and Senior Enlisted Academy.
