hi,

I am pretty new to the wordpress world. i am trying to create a download link for a gpx file on my website.

with a plugin WP Add Mime Types and ‘gpx = application/gpx+xml” i managed to get the gpx file into the media library

But there still seems to be a problem on how the file is handled by the server. When i create a ‘file’ block the download gives the message:
“404 – File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.”

the question is how to resolve this??? can anybody please help??
