Add or remove file types, allow or disallow uploading. The plugin incorporates a file type into media filters if you wish.

Export / Import / Restore Plugin Settings

If you need to move your media library to another website you should export and import WordPress content with WordPress built-in export/import. But to make the Enhanced Media Library work on the new site with the same settings you are provided with the export/import feature.

Multisite compatible

Network activate the plugin and choose which options will be available to your admins. In the PRO version, the license key should be activated once for the whole network.

Please notice that you use Enhanced Media Library with other plugins that add media categories, media folders, or manage MIME Types at your own risk. We cannot guarantee their compatibility because of the different approaches to the same functionality. We do not recommend using other media library (folder) plugin at the same time with the Enhanced Media Library. Please choose the one you prefer.

Installation

  1. Upload plugin folder to ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory

  2. Activate the plugin through Plugins menu in WordPress admin

Nice product, excellent service

This is a nice product that allows you to categorize your media using custom taxonomies (basically your custom descriptors, such as tags, categories, attributes, etc.) Provides the same capabilities as folders, but it sure seems a lot faster. The service is top-notch too!

Unable to access the media menu. Broken site here

Apparently no longer works with Divi 4.7.3 (visual builder)

Apparently no longer works with Divi 4.7.3 when you are in Visual builder mode. The plugin discovered through WP Marmite looked good but suddenly the categories no longer show when inserting an image from the visual builder mode. If you use the classic mode it's ok but it's too long to edit. (with passing through from visual builder mode and classic mode). I will change but thank you for the work done

Much needed plugin – Media Organization Saver

This plugin is really needed by many, even myself. I have used this plugin for a long time and been very happy with it and grateful for it. I have a website with a lot of media uploads, and expect much more in the coming year. With this plugin I am able to manage my media uploads effectively. I am surprised that WordPress didn't do this in the first place themselves, seeing how effective this plugin has been. I have had zero problems with this plugin and I have used it for over a year. Keep it going mate! PS: would like to see a link to donate somewhere, did I miss it?
