Wow these are awesome-love them! Worked great right out of the box, simply turn on and hang. These are much different then the standard walkway solar light as they through off a totally different kind of light/glow. They really add a cool vibe to my outdoor landscaping. Note-not sure of the bad review that stated that they were cheap plastic...these are glass jars and they look beautiful. Great purchase.

I personally have bought a lot of solar lights and this was the cutest jar I had, the light is fairly bright as I hang it on the corner of our yard, I have been using it for 2 weeks now so far in summer here in Washington it charges fairly enough to shine for 7pm to 6am, the jar is sturdy and the hangers are not flimsy.

This was offered for me for an honest product review, will update this fall season which I’m excited!

These mason jar lights is exactly what my back yard needed! They add just the right ambiance to my garden that I have been looking for. They are well built and require no assembly. I received the six pack of lights already on their jars and ready to put on my hangers in my garden. I have to say that getting both the solar lights and the jar together is so much nicer than buying them separately or trying to find jars that will fit. I have tried both ways and have always been unable to get them to fit right which allows water to get in and eventually ruins the lights. Not with these! . These lights are so pretty that I will be getting more for friends and family to enjoy since I know they will have no trouble with setting them up!

One Year, 4 Seasons--Still Working.

In the past, I had metal screw tops with an otherwise similar design. Those did not make it through the year--some did not make it past the summer. This solar LED mason jar light set lasted all four seasons without bringing them inside (though the winter was mild, it was not exactly dry). I just bought another set for other areas of the yard.

The metal style I had previously rusted, and I like weathered looks, but out of the six I had, only one is left. All six of this plastic top model is still working.

Two things: First, it does take in water (no more than an inch in any of them). It never interfered with functioning, and added some interesting light casts as a result. I didn't mind the water, and it is easy enough to unscrew the top, and dump it out. And most of the units are placed in an area where they only receive direct sunlight in the morning--the sun disappears over the roofline around noon. Still, these illuminated well into the early hours of the morning, and I've seen the lights glow until 3am.

UPDATE: Of the 18 I have up, 12 are still working and made it through their second winter outside (South Eastern Mass.). I just ordered another batch to replace the 6 I lost over the winter. Absolutely worth the money on these.

I have had these just over 2 weeks. I am in California and we keep having rolling blackouts. I bought these to look cute outside but also to move around inside when the power is out. So far I absolutely love them. When in the sun all day they come on at night and still have some glow at 6am. They are so cute outside in the yard. On nights when the power is out I leave them at different places inside the house to help us navigate. Two or three on the table give enough light to enjoy dinner. I am really pleased with them. I hope they continue to work well. If I haven’t updated this review that means they are still working. I have had them set to “on” since the day I received them. They automatically come on when it is dark.
My one and only issue is the lids were really difficult to remove (the on/off switch is under the lid). Once off they were difficult to get back on without the lid being crooked.

I was skeptical upon ordering that these lights would be dim and lame but that was based on my experience with the ultra-cheap solar pathlights that I've purchased from the big box stores in the past. I have been positively delighted to own these and they have brought a great deal of joy to my garden.

Some I have simply placed on the ground and others I have hung from high tree limbs using twine rope made to look like vines are growing on it. They look fantastic!

The warm white is warm enough. I do wish that these lights would twinkle and/or fade but hey for this price I'm satisfied.

These look beautiful! I have them hanging on shepherd hooks on my garden path. It is quite a shaded area but seems to charge these up enough and the evenings now have the path sparkling with these. It’s a soft warm glow and they look like mason jars filled with fireflies. My only negative is they need the light to be really low lit before they come on. We have a few other lights in the garden (nothing bright), we have to cover the solar panel on the lid for these to stay lit while the others are on. It’s no biggy, a leaf over the lid does the trick.

We love to fill our garden with solar-charged lights, as we're south-facing and get plenty of light - even in autumn and winter. These were to replace a previous, cheaper, set of mason jars that didn't last as long as hoped - so I wanted something more robust and better built to go on our back steps. This six-pack looked solidly-built and were perfect for where we wanted to put them. Although they are more expensive than other brands, they are much more substantial - thicker glass, stronger and bigger lids - so they are worth the money. They charge well, even now we're getting less light after the clocks went back, and give off a nice warm light at night - as you can see in my pictures.

very bright. need to spread the lights inside out first which is very easy. they are quite heavy so cant hang in a weak tree such as a young magnolia. due to their weight they wont blow over in small winds but in stronger winds i recommend bringing them in. super cute will consider buying more

We were updating our little garden corner, these warm light has provided a fancy fairy land feeling. It light up just after dark, the light absorbed plenty of sunlight and turned it all into energy. Now with the better weather, these lights are lasting really long, you won’t believe it when I get up from 6am, although they are dimmed, but they are still on, we are impressed. I like the warm colour these solar lights has got, rather than a bright white, they really has transformed the garden corner very well. Worth buying.
