Capitol Shed did a great job! Service in the shop was excellent and prompt. The shed looks great. Delivery guy was on time and made sure to get everything in right.

Myer's, particularly Brenda Myers, was helpful and professional. They worked with us to special order windows that met with our HOA restrictions. The shed was build very quickly after placing the order less than 2 weeks. I think the sheds are built in PA and the shed quality is very high overall. Note that like almost all shed companies, they do not deal with permitting; an excavation contractor they recommended did that for us as part of a separate job to build a platform on cement piers for the shed.

Installed good quality shed in timeframe provided.  Workers were great, nice quality shed, looks very nice.  Many neighbors have commented  and were interested.  Shed is raised on blocks 4 inches to keep it dry which is fine.  Need lattice around bottom of shed to finish the appearance and keep critters, leaves out. Unfortunately price given for small amount of plastic lattice was way too expensive (1/4 of the price of the shed). which was very dissapointing.

We contacted Affordable sheds to get a quote for a 10x16 shed to be built on our property. Of the three places we contacted, Affordable sheds had the best price plus the best customer service/response times for our inquiries. We had a lot of questions and wanted to make sure all of our shed requirements were met. We worked with Karen who was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions. She also provided a great deal of information about the choices we made as well as suggestions when we weren't sure of our options. We wanted a concrete slab under our shed and she assisted us with finding a reputable concrete company that works often with Affordable Sheds. Our shed was built on April 21st in roughly 5 hours on site. We couldn't be more happy with how the shed turned out. I highly recommend Affordable Sheds (Keith and Karen) for a shed building project.

I spoke to Doug and he came to my home and conducted site survey and discussed my needs and options available, becuase have a sloping back yard.   Doug provided a detailed estimate for different sizes of sheds and a price listing for different options.   Once decided on 8x12 foot shed and paid deposit, install date was set for 17-18 May and even with all the rain, was able to complete shed on 19 May.   Compared to other options for sheds, I felt this was the best value and quality for the money.   Would highly recommend Affordable Sheds to anyone in the market.

We used Doug Lewis and Affordable Sheds for our recent shed projects. After getting estimates from several shed companies in the areas, we opted to go with Affordable Sheds. They are top rated on Angies list, and in real life deliver as promised. They also had the best pricing for the product we wanted. It is rare that you meet someone with as much professionalism, expertise, and courtesy as Doug Lewis and his team. Doug came out did a site survey and helped us think through the best location for a shed. We decided to place it on the side of the house to preserve backyard space. I have attached a picture of our shed and it provides us about 64 sq feet of storage space, almost as much as an 8 x 8 shed. The vinyl siding of the shed nearly matches the house, so from the street it looks like part of the house. In researching, we learned also that not all sheds are built alike. Affordable sheds has some of the following construction features that we thought would be good for a long term maintenance free shed: - floor joists pressure treated and 12" on center - 3/4" pressure treated floor - vinyl pvc trim which does not require maintenance - vinyl gable vents which match the shed - pvc roof trim - weather guard to prevent leaking into the shed We would highly recommend them if you need a new shed.

Had a shed built from scratch. Worked out great. Built on time and met budget. Had a few extras along the way, all items were met with positive response and how it could get implemented. The crew were easy to deal with at any time. We now have the shed we wanted.

First, Barbara and Milton are such a pleasure! Second, the shed came out exactly as planned with no problems. My husband and I did quite a bit of research before choosing this company. We needed someone that would build on site as our gates and lot wouldn't allow a pre-fab shed to be dropped in. Five Star Sheds to the rescue! Their prices were competitive with the pre-fab sheds that we found, and we know that the materials that they use are superior. Finally, because it is clear that Barbara and Milton take pride in their work, we know that the shed is built right and will last!

We are extremely satisfied by the work. We started with some roof fixing which was repaired beyond our expectation. We were so glad that asked to build a new shed on our backyard. The shed was built by custom design exactly how we wanted: with a loft and permanent stairs. Then we ordered a cedar fence (our old one didn't match the beauty of the new shed) and again, it was done perfectly. We highly recommend this company.

Everything was great. Went to the office in Burtonsville,MD and selected a shed. Sales person was very professional and helpful. Shed was delivered and assembled in my backyard. Crew was professional and very courteous. They did a great job and left the job sight spotless. The shed looks great. I will update review later to share how the shed has held-up over time.

All went well -  the only slight issue was with the estimate.  When the estimator was here, nothing was mentioned of a $25 gas fee. The estimate i did receive included the fee. I did question abt this (as this was not mentioned upfront)  and without hesitation, the amount was removed.  The guys who came by took down the shed quickly and and cleanly. No mess was left in my yard. The new shed is incredible. While the shed is the same size,  the shed is taller - thus giving my additional room.  I am glad I went with affordable sheds - if I ever needed a new shed, I would not have a problem using them again.

From start to finish, everything went smoothly. The shed was ready for delivery sooner than expected. Shed pieces were delivered to our driveway, shrink-wrapped for protection. All we were instructed to do was clear the ground where the shed was to be installed, mark the corners and provide pavers for leveling. We were told we didn't need to be at home for any part of the process. I was skeptical! But the men arrived next day to assemble the shed as scheduled, and we came home to find the shed exactly as ordered, perfectly level, and everything cleaned up. Just a beautiful job. I should also mention that they had to carry the shed pieces up a wooded path and around to the back of our house. It was such an unexpected pleasure to have this kind of service that I thought the least I could do was take a minute to give these competent folks a plug on Angie's List. Highly recommended!

We went and looked at sheds and Kristi provided all of the options and pricing to make our decision.  We returned  to place our order and within 3 weeks we had a beautiful new shed on our property.

They did an excelent job and I am very satisfied.  Compared to another company that I contacted, Doug was very helpful on the phone, answering my questions before I asked them.  The carpenter who did the work was truly impressive.

It went extremely well. The materials were high quality. The workmanship was exceptional. All the measurements were precise. Barbara and Milton were easy to communicate with and took great care to make sure the placement of our shed was exactly where we wanted it and the shelves inside were placed to our satisfaction. They arrived at our home at the scheduled time and worked from early in the morning until late in the afternoon to get the shed completed by the projected date. They also left the work area clean and organized and took great care to keep our property from being damaged during the process. We chose Shed and Pros Co., for several reasons, good communication, well cooperation and reasonable pricing. Jen was most wonderful help who did all explanations and assisted me to select for various types of designs, styles and colors. I was not familiar with some terms within building materials. With her assistance, it went smoothly and helped me to get clear picture of what the shed would look like. The crew brought everything to the site – they built a shed. As it resulted it was amazing process which went evenly. James, the owner of the company was even at the site and supervised the process. Great communication with him. Through him, he contacted the local government to get a permit and all conditions were met according to the building codes. Everything was met to my great satisfaction. In the end, we were glad to chose them for a beautiful product of the shed. I would highly recommend them for anyone who wants to get a shed.

Doug was fantastic to work with.  When he came out for an estimate, he arrived promptly and had a notebook full of photos of  sheds he had built for other people.  This was in addition to a brochure that also included photos and price lists for the various sheds.  This was very helpful in envisioning what the shed I selected would look like when actually built in a back yard. Approximatley a month later the shed was installed.   It could have been installed two weeks after the estimate, but I chose a later date. Paul, the carpenter arrived on Thursday 10/25 and tore down the old shed and took it away.  The new shed was finished the next afternoon.  Two days later hurricane Sandy arrived.  The shed did not take in any water and no part of it was blown away. He was able to put the new shed right where the existing shed was, saving my perennials next to the shed.  I also had a ramp with my old shed, and it lines up perfectly with the new shed.  Paul worked very neatly and upon the completion of the shed, all construction  materials were taken away and I was just left with a beautiful new shed. I am very pleased with the new shed, it comes with a 10-year warranty.  No doubt it will last many, many years.  It is very well built, and he uses only the best of materials.

I needed a prefab shed built to custom size. Highpoint got the job done. The online design and ordering system helped a lot. Due to the pandemic supply chains are backed up, and there's a glut of orders (everyone is buying sheds). Communication could have been more proactive when the estimated timeframe slipped, but Highpoint responded when I reached out. They tell you up front that they order the sheds from a company in Pennsylvania and deliver them, so I knew they had no direct control over production.

We had been looking for a company to build a shed for us for quite some time and we stumbled upon this one. They were very easy to work with, negotiated with us on the price of our shed and we made our selections and scheduled a date. It was all very easy. Someone came about 2 weeks after our initial meeting with them to build the shed on-site. He was very friendly, fast, and did high quality work. The only thing that I would have liked is if they were willing to paint the sheds, but overall working with them was great!
