The president of the company was a joy to deal with on this project. His team was professional and well suited to the task. They were efficient clean and easy to talk to over the course of the two days that it took to get the job done. The best part is that there is now no evidence of any of the damage that existed previously. 5 stars!!!!!!

I had this contractor out to give me an estimate. First, the guy showed up 30 minutes late then told me he would get me an estimate via email the next day. I never received it so I followed up via email a week later. It is now two weeks later and I have heard nothing back regarding the project. No phone calls, no emails, nothing. If you are looking for responsiveness, I would not select this company.

Found Mr. Mundo as Joes Painting Company in the Pennysaver. Hired him because o damage to my ceiling in the garage, joints were not taped when drywall was installed. Ceiling had been covered with a popcorn coating and there were lines where the drywall joined that were not taped. Hired to remove the old popcorn where the lines were cracking, tape and respray to cover the lines, about 10 feel all together. The repaired sections were very obvious, lacking texture of the popcorn when he finished, he said it would match when it dryed and the texture would be fine. It has never matched and the lines have reappeared, it appears the joints were not taped again, just sprayed over. I have called Mr. Mundo many times, at first he agreed to return and correct his work, but he never showed. Now he will not answer the phone and never calls me back when I leave a message. I did get him by using another persons phone last week, again he said he would be here and again he didn't call or show. He keeps changing his company name and has left me with a messed up ceiling.

Working with Elite absolutely exceeded mine and my husband's expectations. We hired them to remodel an outdated 1960s addition to our house, complete with beadboard, popcorn ceiling and an indoor grill. Ken and Ana paid very close attention to what I was asking for and along with their team gave us an exceptional end result. The room is absolutely gorgeous. We couldn't be happier. Everyone at Elite was a pleasure to work with and we will be using them for additional remodeling in the future. I highly recommend Elite.

ADM Contracting renovated my kitchen to include removing drywall and flooring, re-installing new drywall, painting, installing cabinets, removing old popcorn ceiling and installing new ceiling. Professional, prompt, kept me informed through the entire process, and gave a fair price. I have referred Dennis and ADM Contracting to many other people. 100% Satisfied with the quality of their work!!

The work took longer than originally specified, though this was the fault of another vendor, not DMV. DMV performed the work in a thorough and conscientious manner. The bathroom is exactly what I wanted: the marble tile is lovely and the installation of all fixtures was done promptly and correctly. The apartment looks so much fresher and more modern with the popcorn ceiling removed and repainted, as does the whole apartment with a new coat of paint. A special thanks for the professional services of: Cemmy, Javier, Maynor, Grover, Orlando,Eduardo and Primo.

I am bit of a perfectionist, so the fact that I?m so pleased with the work of DMV means a lot. They were professional, helpful, clean, creative and efficient and the bathroom looks fabulous. The products are higher grade (Kohler). Even when we struggled with decisions, Oscar was there to nudge us in the right direction. If, during the process, I noticed something I forgot or did not like, the crew would contact Oscar and he would call within the hour. A couple of times, they changed the item on the spot. The same guys would show up around 8:00 in the morning and work until 5 or 6 every night. In less than 3 weeks, our master was ready to show all our friends. I looked at 5 companies and DMV was the best price and I?m so glad I choose them. I loved that it was so easy to pick out our products. I would recommend DMV to anybody and have been doing so every chance I get.

We hired Mr. Amaya and his team to provide renovation upgrades & home repairs. Mr. Amaya is technically competent, personally reliable, thorough and the prices for his labor clear and fair. Mr. Amaya completed a variety of work including removing the popcorn from the ceiling and painting all the interior walls and ceilings. He also refinished the kitchen cabinets, installed cabinet hardware and completed smaller jobs such as light carpentry and wood floor repair. Mr. Amaya and his team were always courteous and took the time to answer questions accurately and completely. We would recommend hiring Jose for home remodeling jobs.

I could not be more pleased! To me, the project seemed a bit daunting—tearing out the original 1980s bathroom (all the way to the studs), and creating a new one that maximized the available space. The company's owner, Brian Matthews, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable during every step of the process: providing a same-day estimate, very patiently answering my (many) questions, and always available to discuss any aspects of the project. Matthews Construction's cost was at the higher end of the estimates I received. But (after coming off of a *very* traumatic kitchen remodel experience) I was adamant about wanting the best contractor I could afford. After meeting and speaking with Brian, I felt confident that their work was going meet my high standards of quality. And it did! Brian assisted me in the bathroom design and in selecting new fixtures—either meeting at the store to offer input or directing me to a local vendor when I wanted to shop by myself. The Matthews Construction's work crew was always prompt, worked extremely hard (in the heat of summer), kept me well informed, and was very open to my questions and input during the process. (The installer did a particularly AMAZING job laying the wall tile and slate flooring.) As frequently happens with home improvements, the new bathroom took a bit longer than was originally projected (a week was lost waiting for a replacement for a cracked bathtub), but the results *more* than made up for it. As I said initially, I could not be more pleased: my new bathroom is BEAUTIFUL!! (Honestly, I can't stop smiling every time I walk past it.) In fact, I'm already looking forward to my next project with them. Thanks!

Kenny gave us the lowest price when we looked for bids for the ceiling work to be done in our new home. He was very accurate about how much materials would cost in addition to giving us a very reasonable quote for labor. I felt that I could communicate with him whenever I needed to and he was always responsive. He made sure all work was done to our liking before receiving final payment. I'll likely hire him again for more work in the future.

It went well. They started soon after we signed the contract and the work did not drag on very long although there were some delays while they waited for materials to arrive. Generally, the work was done quickly and efficiently. Contract supervisor was responsive and helpful. The contractor gave me some good ideas and referred me to good suppliers of cabinets and tile. I am happy with the job. Only complaint: they left some building materials on my balcony and have procrastinated picking it up.

I had hired a different contractor to remodel master bathroom. The quality of the tile work in the master bath, which included the shower enclosure, bathroom walls, and floor was simply terrible, from this original contractor. The floor began to fail after several days, with grout between tiles crumbling and tiles shifting under pressure. The original Contractor could not come up with acceptable remediation plan. Contacted Advance Construction Concepts and they agreed to replace the tile floor, immediately, over the weekend. Top quality installation job, and excellent service. I only wish I had started out with them. I was so impressed that I got them to remodel my basement. The work they did installing drywall in my basement went very quickly--however the installation crew was not managing the dust effectively. When I complained about this, the contractor replaced the crew and brought in someone exceptionally meticulous. The end quality of the work was very high, but there was one corner by the stairs that did not get painted or trim, I guess because it had been covered with plastic, and they forgot about it. I didn't complain about it because I had carpet installation scheduled and did not want to mess up the logistics of that. I regarded it as a minor quibble since I did not point it out.

I had made my decision on this contractor based upon ratings on Angie's List, and we purchased a Big Deal to fund a portion of the job. We had a lot of potential jobs to do, and Dennis came out to give us pricing for the various options we had in front of us. After discussing, my wife and I decided to focus on remodeling our master bedroom. This particular job involved patching and rewiring where a wall had been removed, removing a door and closing in a closet, adding a wall and relocating a door for a new walk-in closet, and adding recessed lighting and a ceiling fan. Dennis believed that it would cost a bit extra above what we paid for the Big Deal since it would require additional men on the job, but that they could get it finished within about a week. The initial work seemed to go rather quickly and we were pleased with both the progress and the team. Two guys seemed to do the majority of the work, while Dennis came in and worked on more complicated elements like wiring, etc. Unfortunately, everything slowed down as I understand one member of the team was "let go" and the manpower dropped off. It now looked as if the job would take significantly more than a week. Nevertheless, I asked Dennis if his team could stay on to do some additional work by adding crown moulding and renovating an additional bedroom. He agreed and we settled on a price. As the job continued, everything seemed to take twice as long as anticipated. Nevertheless, we were assured that things would wrap up. I became a little worried about the quality of the work as they appeared to be rushing and overlooking a lot of the details. Still, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. On the final day, it still looked like a lot of detail work needed to be done. The painting looked uneven, and there were clear ripples and ridges in the drywall. I would have chalked that up to the uneveness of our existing walls, but even the brand new wall seemed to need a lot of work. I assumed the team would have a chance to fix all this and would do so. The last remaining worker was clearly rushing to get out the door despite a lot of elements needing to be fixed. I was surprised that they wanted to wrap up even though all sorts of things looked unfinished. They ended up leaving, and when I inspected the work, I was not pleasantly surprised. In the master bedroom, the door they relocated would not latch at all, walls had large and very visible ridges and bumps, the trim painting was extremely sloppy and uneven with drips and smears, bases were installed over paper and tape which they ripped up leaving jagged edges, drywall mud was dropped and dried on our hardwood floors, caulk was not smoothed and dried with peaks, and switchplates and outlet covers were either missing or hastily installed crooked. In the other bedroom, similar issued existed, but even the prehung door would not close and was VERY crooked, only one corner of the crown moulding of the four in the room met correctly, while the other three were very crooked and in some instances filled with over a half-inch of caulk. Only one switchplate and one outlet cover was installed. I called Dennis to ask if his team was really done, since I honestly believed that no one would leave a job in this condition. He stated yes, and when I told him I was surprised since there seemed to be a lot of issues, he curtly replied "such as..." I then went down the list. He agreed to meet and go over the issues, and was mostly silent, but told me that his guy would come out to fix everything. It should only take a day. Of course, it stretched on much longer, and frankly, saw that things would only improve to a point. Many of the larger issues were fixed, but still, the work was still of not particularly high quality with little attention to detail. Despite a bit more work to be done, I told the worker that he could just leave it. I would try to handle the rest. I'm sure that Dennis does great work himself, but we did not really have him involved a lot in this job. I admit that I'm detail oriented, but even several contractors who have come in after have shaken their head at the quality of the work at ALL levels. In fact, we just discovered that a huge gap in the wall was left above the prehung door that they installed crooked and then repaired. I'm sad to say that we would neither recommend his team nor use him again. I just cannot trust that the work will be of high quality without a lot of follow up, correction, or time on all parties part.

Scott was truly remarkable from start to finish. I bought my first home & needed a lot of work done before I moved in. I only had a week to get it all done & he had a team of people there getting it done. It looks beautiful & I get compliments from everyone. Plus his prices were a lot cheaper! He is also a delight to work with & gets back to you in a timely manner!!

Omar's General Contracting

It was a lot of work, and his team was incredibly professional and hardworking. Of course, we started the project with a more modest list, but I started getting ideas while they were in the house. Omar was accommodating as I added new work to the job, and he was reasonable on price. The quality of the work was terrific; I really can't say enough about the work they did, and we've already hired them again to help with another little project in our house. I would recommend them to any friend, as I think their prices were fair, and the quality of their work was even better then I expected The team cleaned up the house each night and did a fairly good job of cleaning up their work at the end (with the exception of leaving some handprints on the walls). Overall, the guys were very polite and respectful, and I trusted them in my home. My only complaint was that Omar was often late for our consultations. If he said 8-8:30, you could bank on him being there around 8:40-8:45. To his credit, he never missed an appointment, and once I realized the trend, I adjusted my plans accordingly, and it worked out. Of course, I would have preferred him to be there during the window we agreed upon, but I thought that was a minor thing compared to all of the good that came with working with Omar and his team. Lastly, Omar's assistant, Wilber, was very responsive to my calls/emails, and I think she's an invaluable member of their team.

Rafael, Surley and their team were an absolute pleasure to work with - hands down the only contractors we will ever work with. They were punctual every single day, to include on Thanksgiving, and worked throughout the day to ensure they stayed on track. They were professional and incredibly respectful of our home - cleaning and dusting daily. The quality of their work and attention to detail was exceptional. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the way in which they worked and the finished product.

The job was done wonderfully well. The men showed up on schedule, were very professional and very courteous. They worked very efficiently and did EXACTLY what I wanted. Recent Review: Final result was great with good quality and our expectations were fulfilled. Job was performed during normal business hours for security reasons and the workers were on time in the morning and ready to leave by the closing of our premises; they were very polite and concerned with the cleaning and noise while doing their job. Project lasted about 10 days and Alex did a great job while it was going on, checking in everyday and contacting us for our everyday feedback and bringing us different samples of materials when requested. We wanted to convert two rooms into one by demolishing the wall in between. Each room had different type of floors: one with carpet, the other had hard-wood installed. Both were removed and replaced with a new engineered wood looking floor. Walls were re-painted. One door was removed and sealed so the new room has only one door. There was a gap on the ceiling after demolition of the wall which was filled with drywall finished with a special technique to match the rest of our floating popcorn tiles ceiling. Demolished wall had two electrical outlets that were relocated on the other walls. New room is intended to be a dining room in our office and it?s connected to our kitchen. Part of the project was to install a new swing door. At the beginning the door had some details that could?ve been done better. We communicated our concerns about it and the next day they came to redo the installation, fix the problems and meet our requirements. We would definitely recommend Lofft Construction.
