Adam, the owner and a second generation fitness machine expert, came to my house and fixed everything. He was professional, prompt and incredibly knowledgeable. He called before coming to confirm the appointment. He arrived on time and he showed me the issues with the machine once the machine was taken apart. He was able to fix everything when he was here. I also found out that he is willing to check out used equipment to see if it is worth purchasing (I am a fan of buying used). I would highly recommend FitnessBetter to anyone looking to repair, maintain or move fitness equipment.

What seemed at first like a simple fix was anything but. The screws holding the pedal all stripped and these screws were the most solid things every built by man. Adam from FitnessBetter came out within 3 HOURS of calling... on a SUNDAY! He worked at it, and kept trying everything in the book until we were able to find a solution. And... even after the job was a lot more involved and took a lot longer than first expected, he did not charge any more than the initial quote. On top of that, he was extremely courteous and good-natured. Why can't all repair companies provide service like this?!

Kenny did a great job. I would recommend him for your playset and basketball goal needs. On replacing the pad pn the bottom of our Gorilla basketball goal, Kenny knows what he is doing. I would recommend utilizing a professional on this as he explained that when you install the padding on the goal you are drilling very close to glass backboard and iy could shatter the glass if you are not careful/don't know what you are doing.

Adam cleaned and tested our treadmill, and diagnosed the problem. We ordered the requisite part online and Adam came back a second time to install the part. He tested the treadmill to ensure that the machine was operating properly. He is very professional, personable, and punctual. We would definitely hire him again.

I was very happy with the work. The price was reasonable. He was very responsive. I have neighbors that use him and I highly recommend him. They were very pleasant and easy to work with.

The quality of these swings is unbeatable, price is an issue but, by timing the purchase to the off season, we were able to get a great deal. Installation went smoothly. Afterwards I noted a loose piece on the climbing wall which needed an extra screw and the company came out promptly to fix the problem.

We had a fantastic experience with the Swingset Service and would highly recommend them. The guys showed up on time and worked very hard putting together the swingset on a very hot day. We had a couple of broken pieces and the guys were able to fix them on site. They also had to a dig up the ground a bit to level the set which all worked out great. HIGHLY recommend.

This started with a $199 Angie's deal for rotten wood replacement. After we signed up we sent Craftsmasters a series of photos to let them know what the project entailed. Initially it appeared to us that the bulk of the damage could be repaired by extracting six screws from each of six damaged deck floor planks and replacing those planks with six planks supplied by us. Or, it could be more extensive, perhaps significantly more. We encouraged Robert (Hummel) that his company felt comfortable doing the job. After weeks of delay, perhaps misunderstanding what the job entailed, Bob did come out and discussed a planned approach. What I definitely did not want was for someone to start but not finish. The carpenter who started the job did replace the deck planks but seemed intimidated by other damage discovered, even suggesting that we consider significantly reducing the playset by removing a circular slide. Skipping to the end-- Robert and his carpenter did some out and significantly rebuilt part of the playset with pressure-treated lumber (replacing significant rot-vulnerable-redwood). Very nice ending and we're happy with what was accomplished -- especially since the local dealer for that line of playsets said he didn't recognize the playset and said something like, "if I didn't build it I won't repair it." (btw, the manufacturer of these Rainbow playsets promises lifetime warranty--so beware)

We purchased a play set from Play N’ Learn Columbia in May 2020. During the purchasing process, the sale representative (George Humphreys) was readily available via chat, email and phone to answer my questions and provide me with information regarding the purchase (as we were not able to see the sets in the store due to the COVID-19 pandemic). Our set was installed in June 2020 and upon inspecting the installed play set, I noticed that many of the beams were split, damaged, and splintered. This was extreme concerning to us, given that it is an expensive purchase and we worried about the safety and quality of the product (Note: the split wood got worse with use in just the past month). I contacted George to make him aware of the damage and, over the course of a few days, continued to contact George regarding additional beams that I realized had damage. I requested over and over via email and multiple calls that George call me to discuss the problems and a resolution and not once did he call me to discuss. He offered, via email, to have some of the beams replaced but had to seek approval from his manager (Frank Goldstein). Due to the lack of responsiveness from George and the lack of any indication that he cared one bit about the damage to our brand new play set, I began contacting Frank directly. Frank offered to come to my house to look at the damage that I was complaining about and to decide what can be done to fix it. I appreciated his willingness to come to look at the product himself; however, he showed up at my house with an attitude and was very impolite and unprofessional in his demeanor. Frank insisted that the “damage” I identified was normal and, over and over again, he told me “if you are expecting perfection, maybe a wooden play set isn’t for you.” It was not until I pointed out how unprofessional and rude he was being to me, that Frank change his tone. Eventually, he agreed to replace some, not all, of the damaged beams. I was, and still to this day am, taken aback at the way that I was treated by both George and Frank, but I wanted to wait until the damage beams were replaced before I posted my experience. This is a word of mouth business and I want everyone to be aware of my experience and this company’s complete disregard for its customers. Most customer service oriented companies would have apologized that the product and/or installation was not up to par and would have immediately offered to make it right. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive one apology, they charged me $399 for installation and Frank informed me that I was lucky to even get a play set in the first place because of the high demand. This is not a cheap product and I suggest taking your money elsewhere to avoid all of the stress, regret and disappointment that this experience has caused.

I needed a simple replacement part for my older swingset and I was willing to pay for it. I went to the location and was told that they could not sell me the part there, that I had to go through customer service. The man provided me with their email and phone number. He recommended sending an email with description and pictures explaining what part I needed, waiting 4-5 business days, then calling the number and reminding them that I had already sent an email... Wow, okay. So I write an email, wait about a week, and call the phone number to talk to a rep. Well, you don't actually get a rep, you get an answer machine where for the first 5 minutes they tell you to hang up and send them an email instead. I left a voicemail explaining I had sent an email already and just wanted to follow up. The voicemail system says to expect a call back within 24 hours, which never happened. Granted I was just looking for a replacement part for a playset. However, now that I see how their customer service works, I would never consider buying one of their units. They claim to pride themselves in their fantastic warranties that they offer, I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it would be to actually have a problem fixed if something came up.
