Bella Rose FlooringWe had a great experience with Eric and his team. They were very professional, courteous, and neat. They finished this project in 3.5 days. Eric provided an estimate the first time he came to measure and kept to that price even though we threw some changes at him. They cleaned up after themselves as they went along and were very neat. We get a lot of compliments on the job they did. After they were done, we changed a vanity in our bathroom that required a flooring adjustment and Eric came out promptly and made the change beautifully. Ace Handyman Services S Pittsburgh (formerly Handyman Matters)Early in 2020 we decided to get our house ready to put on the market and needed people to do electrical work, fine carpentry, flooring. We looked on Angie’s List and found Ace Handyman of South Hills. They sent a craftsman the next day to look over the work we needed to have done. His professionalism and directness prompted us to ask to have someone assigned to come for several full days. We explained our wish to get the work done promptly, and the very helpful lady who handled scheduling did her best to support us. We had help from several craftsmen with special skills, all of them very attentive to our wishes and very efficient. We especially appreciated the way they explained things to us. They helped put our house in the shape we wanted, and it sold very promptly. In all, this was a happy association, and we would engage Handyman again if we still lived in Pittsburgh.- SANDY N.

The process started well and Jacob seemed very knowledgeable and motivated. However, after the first visit it was very hard to schedule a time for him to return to finish the work. He was unresponsive and unreliable. We vacated our home multiple times with the promise that he would be there working all day but he never showed up. He went radio silent on us for about a week, leaving us living with unfinished floors in our living room, kitchen, and stairs. This was dangerous for us and our pet as there were rusty nails and unstable floorboards. The quality of his work was sub-par. When he finally did finish the job, the vinyl flooring looked great but the transitions and trim were cut and installed poorly. He rushed to get the job finished and it shows. He said he would be in the area for a few finishing touches later in the week but we have not heard from him and have since spent hundreds of dollars with another contractor to fix it. While installing the flooring in our kitchen, he damaged our new refrigerator. We asked him to try to fix it, he did not. I hope that this is an outlier in Jacob's work history because he seemed like a nice person but after our experiences with him, I cannot recommend that anyone hire him.
