Retrospect Building & DesignOur home is over 25 years old and we were needing a combination of home renovations and a series of new work including new bedrooms, bathrooms, storage rooms and generally fixes around the house. Powell's Pro Building and RemodelingWe knew right away that we were going to like working with Powell’s Pro. From our first meeting with Rodger and Lisa, we were struck by how likable and professional they were. Throughout the project, they were sensitive to our budget while helping us design improvements to our house that we had never even considered (Rodger is a genius). The crew was wonderful, as well. They showed up on time every day, worked hard all day, and cleaned up every evening. Plus they were really nice guys. They snuggled our dog in the morning and were careful to keep sharp objects put away because we have young kids. We always trusted them in our home. In the end, the project was completed within the projected time frame and at budget, and their work was excellent. We are so happy with our house! The craftsmanship and care Powell’s Pro put into the project absolutely shows. They were not our lowest bid, but they were worth every penny we spent. Ted Konold ConstructionHe walked out on the job. Rather than be reasonable he will not honor his work when presented with evidence from a Structural Engineer. This guy was fine on the other 3 jobs he did for us. Then once we had a problem he is he chose to quit leaving us in a demolished house in at the start of the pandemic home schooling 2 children and and him giving us erroneous bills. He now is using the court system to bully us further. He is an incredibly spiteful man that brings that anger and spite into his business. I hope no one ever has to deal with Ted should you have a problem. He is not an honorable man. Do yourself a favor spend the $20 on a public records check. Once a thief always a thief!- Jen O.

Ted Konold ConstructionTed does subpar work - when we had an issue with the work which Ted preformed - Ted refused to make it right, or return our phone calls, or emails. He also yelled and screamed at my wife in our home in front of our kids. It is highly recommend to do a background search on Ted before beginning any work with him. We had excellent results from UDK. Very professional and they know their stuff. They saved our hard wood floors that in my opinion were ruined. A special shout out to Nate Mitani and David Blanton. David showed up on Thanksgiving day to check on how thing were going. As far as I'm concerned they went above and beyond to keep things clean during the sheet rock tear out and all of the other stuff that goes along with water damage. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Dylan was easy to work with! He planned out the project and let us have samples so we could mull-over what materials we wanted. Matt was the builder and the deck looks great! We are very happy. Matt did a great job. We have really appreciated him involving us in the project decisions. As you know, there are always minor issues that pop-up when you get down to the nitty-gritty of the build. Some builders we have had in the past just make their own decisions and go on. Matt was great because he would come and involve us in the decisions so we had a say-so in the overall look. He even made a few adjustments for us to accommodate some of our "old people" needs, and he would give us time to think about what we wanted; no on-the-spot decision-making! Consequently, we are happy with every aspect of the deck, with no buyers' remorse here! And, of course, I will highly recommend these guys to my friends and family for any of their deck and fencing needs!

This was the second bathroom remodel I've had Powell's do and it was excellent (again). Rodger and Lisa are so thorough in bidding and preparing for the project. I have no design skills and they both meet with me to help choose out materials and styles. Their recommendations are always so much better than I could have come up with on my own. Their crew is polite, professional, and tidy. They protect floors and other areas of the house and clean up every day before going home. They show up on time every day and work daily until the project is done. Any issue, no matter how small, gets addressed immediately with utmost courtesy. I plan to use them again for a kitchen remodel. I recommend them highly to anyone and everyone.
