To maintain safe capacity limits mandated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, timed-entry tickets purchased in advance are required of all visitors and MFA members regardless of age. To remain as contactless as possible, there are no in-person ticket sales offered at this time.

Explore the Collections

In order to ensure safe and socially distant visits, capacity is limited and select galleries remain closed. Temporarily closed galleries will continue to reopen. See Gallery Updates for more gallery information and Map for the most up-to-date maps of what’s open.

Gallery Activities and Tours

In order to maintain a safe environment for MFA visitors and staff, all in-person tours and gallery activities are suspended. You can still enjoy virtual tours, lectures, musical instrument demonstrations, curator talks, and more anytime online.
