Came out for a no charge estimate on replacing a sewage pump. Nice guys, but I did not use them because they were over $200 more than another highly rated plumbing company that also had given me an estimate. Another company was $200 more than this group, so they were not the highest.

Russ arrived promptly as promised. Not only was he punctual, but also polite and professional. Russ made sure to explain to me everything that he was doing and noted that the existing pump that I had was more than what was necessary for my basement bathroom. Rather than try to sell me the more expensive pump, he explained that he could install a less powerful (less expensive ) pump for me. I appreciate the fact that he was honest and didn't try to oversell a product that I didn't need. I would highly recommend Cardinal Plumbing and will certainly use their services again.

The plumber, Andy Jasper, arrived in a timely manner, analyzed the problem (pump wouldn't turn off), and replaced a defective switch. The overall time to do the work was less than an hour, and the majority of the cost was in the part replaced.

Quote was obtained on Tuesday and technician arrived on time Wednesday morning - called to let me know he was on the way. Very professional, neat, and efficient. The old pump was removed and disposed of and the new pump placed and tested. The quote for this job (over the phone) was reasonable and fair with no surprises. Overall an excellent experience from the first phone call.

They did a good job replacing the pump. It did back up into the downstairs bathroom. He did not mention that it could back up further and soil the remaining items in the bathroom. I had asked him about this prior to it happening and he did not advise me to remove anything else. He did not wear booties for the whole time and did track some sewage around. This was major concern because my toddler crawls on the floor a lot.

Russel H did the work. He quoted the pump that was sufficient to work in our situation. Obtained it the shop and replaced it that same evening. This did not solve the problem. I called them and they came back since the leak still was there. They said that it was the water line to the refrigerator. They replaced this for another $175 and this did not fix the work. They finally stated that it was a leak in the valve to the ice maker and turned off the valve. Essentially $800 of work that could have been turning off a valve. The work they did was quality but was not necessary.

I was referred to Schuler Plumbing by SOS Services, which was very nice of them to do that. I called Schuler and the first thing Gene did was to give me instructions to go to the basement and perform a few diagnostic steps so he could determine what the problem was. He was very patient on the phone. Once he concluded that our pump had died he put me in contact with the service department. Then Al took my details and scheduled the appointment for a time that worked with our calendar and he was very nice and patient. Chris, the plumber arrived right on time!! He was very pleasant from the start and assured me that things were going to be taken care of. He examined our set up and patiently explained how our system works and what caused the pump to stop working and how to prevent it from happening in the future. Chris was very proficient and did a clean and quick job of swapping the dead pump with a new one. The new pump is a much better brand and is very quiet! Overall I was extremely impressed by the entire experience with Schuler Plumbing and Chris is the nicest plumber we have ever worked with.

It's been a while since they did the work for us, but was more than satisfied with the work they did. Quote was fast, courteous and more than fair. Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing
Our sewage pump went out on the evening of 02/07 while doing laundry and it flooded our laundry room and nearby bathroom. After checking on Angie's List my husband called Service Plus on Saturday morning. They said a technician would be out Monday morning at 8:00. The technician was prompt, friendly and checked out the problem. He said our pump needed to be replaced which we already kind of knew since it was close to 25 years old. He gave us the option of installing a pump which he would supply which would cost close to $1200.00 or we could go out and purchase one and he would still install it. My husband chose to go out and he purchased one from a home improvement store, brought it home, and the technician installed it. We thought it was great the the technician gave us this option because it did save us some money. He also installed a quiet check valve on the pump which was very different from the old one because it was very loud. Together the installation and the pump cost us about $700.00. We would definitely call Service Plus for any other future problems.

Super Service Award Recent Review: The install and quality of work was outstanding. They came out on Friday and did the install on Tuesday. The person that gave me the estimate also put the equipment in. They are one of the best companies I have dealt with. The install team found out my crawl space sump pump was not working. They went and picked one up and installed it for me. They were on time for the estimate and install. No high pressure sales. The system works great. If you want quality work and honesty call comfort air. You would be glad you did.

Super Service Award Recent Review: Jerry came out in Oct and assessed our home for everything necessary and advised us our house was a good fit for the geothermal system. After our heat pump went out in Jan. we decided to go for it. We signed paperwork in March. The winter and wet spring put them extremely behind for the drilling so we had to wait for about 9 weeks to get the project going. I might have marked them down for that, but it was completely understandable given the winter we had. Anyway, it took a few hours one day to go through the house and plan all the changes in the ductwork along with the new installation. So before the installation happened I had spent about 5 or 6 hours with Jerry just planning the whole thing. The installation took 5 days if I remember right. They even came out on Saturday so they could get the job wrapped up before my parents came to visit. I had to leave town at the end of the job, but Gary had already charmed my Great Dane so I felt confident about them working back in my bedroom, where her favorite dog bed is. Beyond all the quality work they did on the which I had contracted for, they noted that a breaker in the breaker box was not the correct one and could be a fire hazard. They told me what to get and I picked it up at Lowe's for them to install that afternoon. Then when they got to the back of the house, they discovered a pipe that hadn't been installed correctly and had leaked about 1/2 gallon of water into the crawl space. I wasn't happy with the job that plumber did in the first place and now I was really peeved. But Gary offered to go to Lowe's to get the parts to fix it - he said it was a simple fix. I insisted on going to get the materials myself. They could easily have told me to go call a plumber, but were happy to fix it. Above and beyond. Really nice guys all around. You can't go wrong using this company. In the end, we have moved from two hvac systems that never got the dining room or kitchen cool or warm, to one geothermal system that had the entire house cooler than ever before. The planning and installation was fantastic and we are so happy!

Recent Review: The whole process went great. Starting with the estimate and initial discussions with Summer and through to the installation with Michael. I did some research and recieved multiple estimates and 3 Kings was my choice when it came to reputation and value. Both Summer and Michael are courteous and knowledgable. The system is working great and if there is any problems in the future, I am comfortable that 3 Kings will be there to stand by their work.
Super Service Award Recent Review: I discovered 3.5 inches of water in my basement on a Sunday. After reading reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Wharff first thing Monday morning. They were on site and had a new pump in the pit within just a few hours to get the water out of the basement as quickly as possible. After discussing my concerns for a failure in the future, we agreed they would also install a backup pump and alarm system. They returned Wed. and completed the job which included having to dig a trench for, and installation of, the separate drain pipe for the backup pump. It's important to note that this job also involved a sump pump pit depth of 12-15 feet and about 4 feet in diameter. So, not an easy job. When they left, all trash was picked up, the fresh trench had been backfilled and raked, I was instructed on the alarm, and everything was working. This was not a planned job, obviously. Nonetheless, they responded immediately to the initial problem and got a solution started and completed the job in total on the next trip on site. I would not hesitate to call them with future needs and would recommend Wharff to anyone whether the needs can be planned or are immediate.
