I made an appointment for a Saturday, the time he was supposed to show up he doesn't i call to find out why he calls back says he's got equipment issues he will come by later in the day. Later in the day into the night he's a no show. I call and try to reschedule he doesn't call me back. Needless to say I am never calling this guy again and I don't recommend him just based on the fact that he left me in a lurch trying to get my Snowblower serviced, He didn't care.

Very good. First repairman came and diagnosed the problem as burned out heating element. Part had to be ordered because the oven is old. Different repairman came to install it. Both were very friendly and professional. First one told me where to find a coupon online for 20% off. Only negative is that scheduling tells you they will be there between 1 and 5 pm and it's always after 5 until they get there so you have to wait all afternoon.

Gravely Hockessin did an excellent job fixing my Gravely zero turn mower. Another dealer tried but failed to fix an engine oil leak on 2 occasions. However, Gravely Hockessin quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in no time. They also fixed the front tires on my Gravely zero turn mower. The front tires had been mistakenly left in the shipping position by another dealer, from whom I had originally purchased the mower. Gravely Hockessin's workmanship and customer service are superb. They remind me of the old school approach where shops do great work and provide excellent customer service. I could not be more pleased with their service. Also, they fixed my Ariens snowblower's heated grips quickly and at a very fair cost. From now on Gravely Hockessin will get all of my Gravely and Ariens equipment business. The staff is very pleasant, courteous, and professional. Their mechanic (Jim) is one of the best mechanics in the business.

I liked them so much they I also took a trimmer to get repaired. They are now my go to engine/tractor repair place Jenna in the office is a sweetheart. I used the company to complete extra projects on a new home before move in. The previous project went pretty well. I was surprised some of the work wasn't up to par, so I had to ask about re-doing some things that weren't right. I was really surprised when I got my final invoice that I had to pay for a half day of labor to complete a punch list for things that should have been done right in the first place. I spent almost $28,000 with the firm and I was really surprised when I got lectured and yelled on the phone at for a simple question about a larger than normal gap in the corner of the new trim. At the end of the project the workers didn't bother to put on their COVID masks.

The hydraulic pump blew a seal. Doug told me which parts I needed. I found them at a dealer, brought them over, and he fixed the mower in a couple days, adjusting all controls and making it like new. Not bad for a 12 year old machine! The charge was minimal considering the expertise required.

Daily Equipment RepairDaily came by with a flatbed truck to take the snow blower from my driveway and later returned it the same way. The pickup and delivery cost was reasonable. They had told me typical repair time was a week, but since there was a storm coming, they were able to repair and return the snow blower the next day. The snow blower runs great since the fuel system was cleaned out. They also replaced a blown gasket that was causing fuel to leak. I was impressed by their quick turn around time.- David R.

BOWERSOX EQUIPMENT COI was told it would be 3 days before they could look at it....6 days later it was never touched and was told by the owner he said 3 weeks, it gets better. I asked 4 my deposit back and then he said he worked on it, NOTHING WAS DONE. You will be lied to and disrespected by the arrogant owner . How this business is able to remain in business is a mystery. AVOID THIS PLACE AS U WOULD A SCHOOL OF GREAT WHITES ! Dont believe it......drop your equipment and your nightmare begins.- Steven K.

BOWERSOX EQUIPMENT CONice people, but the workmanship was very poor. Bowersox Equipment failed to fix my mower after having two bites at the apple. I purchased a Gravely zero turn mower from Bowersox Equipment. They tried but failed to fix an engine oil leak on two occasions under warranty. On the second occasion they kept the machine for more than one month. Also, they failed to fix the front wheels, which floated in the air and wiggled side-to-side frequently. Subsequently, I took the mower to another Gravely dealer who quickly diagnosed and fixed the oil leak by replacing the oil drain plug. The second dealer informed me that the mower had not been put together properly. The front wheels had been mistakenly left in the shipping position by Bowersox Equipment. The second dealer placed the front wheels in the correct bolt holes. Now my mower is perfect. Unfortunately, Bowersox Equipment has lost my Gravely and Ariens equipment business due to this bad experience.- Samuel W.
